We stayed at the gorgeous view cabin and had a lovely weekend! Close to great hikes and cute local restaurants. The place was perfect, we enjoyed the hot tub and making s'mores in the fire pit in the in the evenings.
We had a great stay at this property! It had all the amenities you’d want for a weekend getaway in the woods. The location was perfect, being only 5 minutes from the Nada Tunnel. We would definitely stay again!
Long weekend trip with my 2 sons. Hiking, sightseeing, relaxing. The cabin was appropriately stocked for cooking meals. Beds and furniture were comfortable and the hot tub was perfect after a long day of hiking.
Nice place for a visit-- very comfortable and close to local attractions. It is a very steep drive and there isn't a view despite its name "Gorgeous View". Overall, we were pleased with everything!
We had a wonderful time in this cabin. Everything was perfect! Loved the firepit!! The owner was always so quick to answer questions. We would stay here again!!!
Fantastic experience overall. We nearly got snowed in, everyone was super friendly in helping us to make arrangements.
Cabin is close to RRG and has plenty to keep the family busy (Wii, WiFi, Cable)
Nice secluded cabin with nice views. Location was away from big city and still within driving distance to the big city. Smaller towns were within a nice scenic relaxing drive through nature allowing enjoyable views.
House was clean, comfortable, and at a great location.
The hot tub could be a bit cleaner, but wasn't terrible.
Kitchen had all the necessities for cooking.
Bathrooms had enough toiletries for our stay.
Great location for a cabin in the woods. Really convenient to entrance at Nada tunnel and close to local restaurants. Wish check-in was earlier to enjoy daylight more. But enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub anyway. Would stay again and recommend to those wanting to visit the beautiful gorge in the fall
Excellent directions!! Large flat area to park the vehicle- Rental was very clean. Lots of hiking trails requiring multiple skill levels in the area. Interesting boat tour. Several good restaurants in the immediate area. Only complaint was the TV was difficult to access for non tech savvy person.
Stayed 4 nights in Nov 2024

Nice cottage but outdated
This is a nice cottage near to the hiking and other activities. The view is very nice and the place is cozy. The downside is that the kitchen was very old, the bathroom toilet sit was broken and in general, the place needed cleaning.
This is a nice cabin- we enjoyed our stay. A few things could use updated, such as the downstairs shower and upstairs bath. The kitchen also has no dishwasher. Overall we liked the cabin and the location.
The twin bunks are soft and comfy. The queen beds are firm. Enough pillows. The couch is really comfortable. We loved the deck that wraps around the entire house. The fire pit is perfectly placed. Coming up or down the mountain: take it slow, it is steep!
The cottage was very pretty and comfortable for this family of five + dog. You can't beat the location for the Red River Gorge trip. We enjoyed the hot tub, eating on the deck, and board games on the cozy couch. My kids were disappointed the foosball table from the pics was no longer at the property, and I don't think the gas fireplace was properly hooked up so we couldn't use it. Despite this, I would stay here again, and hope to next fall!
Overall cabin and location was very nice. Spent a lot of time by the fire pit just sitting under the stars. Hot tub was essential. Great cabin for a group.
Only complaints are that the previous load of towels were still in washer and were wet so someone left them in there. Also a used finger splint was found in the top bunk bed. Just a heads up.
We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was mostly private (a few other cabins within eyesight). The cabin was clean and well kept when we arrived. The kitchen had most of the utensils that we needed to make our meals and had some available spices. The hot-tub was clean and fairly private. I would recommend to bring an extra role of toilet paper as there are only two smaller roles provided. The downstairs shower was a little tricky to figure out but for future renters, the temperatures are opposite (give it a while to heat up and the hot side is the closest setting to turning the water off). Overall the cabin had great amenities and was very comfortable.
This property was everyone out was cracked up to be. The staff communicated well; they let us know of changes, confirmed arrival time, and made sure we knew how to reach them of we needed anything (we didn't). They were not intrusive at all be we knew we were set up well. The property is very near all of the sightseeing that we wanted. Great hiking, ziplining, and a swimming hole (or a pool, if that is preferred) right near us!
Öur stay was extended (about 5 days) so shipping was important. There was a town with a Kroger (and other shopping) about 15 minutes away. It was perfect!
