Sligo staycation

Great family stay, a little dated but overall very nice. Rooms were comfortable and apartment was very spacious and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Some nice trails nearby and stunning views. Close by to Sligo and other areas, plus regular bus if you want to leave the car

Lovely location on Lough Gill and only a short drive into Sligo Town. Was disappointed with the service of some of the staff who were quite abrupt and not very helpful. Edward the maintenance worker was very friendly and did a good job in fixing a broken window frame.

Bit of a trek from car park to the rooms, even using the lift need to carry luggage or groceries up stairs. Room doors are very heavy and 7 year old couldn't open them himself. Otherwise accommodation was comfortable and clean, with spectacular views.

Great location would use it again

Used it as a base for a few days to explore Sligo. Staff were helpful, the on site shop was handy for items. The apartment was great with superb views of the lake. Beds were comfortable, the apartment had all the essentials.

Beautiful spot and good rooms

We booked family appartment. The location is beautiful beside a lake and 10min from Sligo (though view marred by some portakabins).Appartments very good condition. One issue - the room doors have very strong springs so they slam shut VERY nosily all the time -ony negative. All the staff are E. European. Mattress a bit soft.

Beautiful location outside about 5 km outside Sligo. Large rooms. Very nice kitchen and common room. Flexibility for a 2 night stay.

Luxury is a far stretch, but the unit was clean and roomy enough for comfort. Kitchen is minimally equipped, so check what's available before grocery shopping, but they provide most essential cooking items. View over the lake was lovely. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall happy with my stay.

No frills large accommodation

The apartments are a really decent size. Good internet, also have amazing views of the lakes. Only issues are that there's not much around, Sligo is a 10 minute drive away, but the local onsite shop has essentials and staff are really helpful. TV was pretty slow to respond to the remote, but kitchen was well stocked.

Excellent highly recommend for families

Excellent stay, very clean, location was ideal for exploring Sligo Leitrim Donegal Longford and Mayo. Quiet. Apartment had absolutely everything we needed for a family stay. Self catering was no problems and huge spacious bedrooms which suited our teens, free WiFi, games room, football area, would definitely be back highly recommend St Angela's for a family we only wish we could have stayed longer

I had a disappointing stay at this hotel. The room was infested with bugs, which made it impossible to relax. Additionally, the furniture was outdated and worn, with creaky beds and chipped tables that looked decades old. The overall experience felt unclean and neglected. The only good thing was a gorgeous view of a lake.

Fantastic view of the Louch

Fantastic view of Louch Gill from our 3 bedroom apartment. Good size and all the required utilities in the kitchen. Shower was excellent and towels changed daily. Plenty of parking. Had a university hall of residence feel, which was expected and a nice change from hotel rooms.

Accueil horrible une dame qui est totalement désagréable sous prétexte qu’on lui demande de parler doucement pour comprendre l’anglais. Elle refuse d’utiliser le traducteur, nous ne sommes pas les biens venus. Madame lève les yeux au ciel, souffle. Elle nous a interdit de faire une machine à laver nous n’avons pas compris pourquoi ? Mais heureusement un monsieur du staff a été très gentil avec nous et nous a autorisé à faire une lessive. Cela ma complètement gâché la soirée. C’est la première fois que cela m’arrive.
