Welcome to your charming seaside escape! This ocean-view cottage offers private beach access just steps away, making it perfect for relaxing family getaways. Enjoy the fully equipped kitchen, plus a bonus kitchenette and washing station with thoughtful touches like a crockpot, baking tools, and pantry basics.
This home features 3 bedrooms, 5 beds, 2 full bathrooms, and 1 half bathroom. Please note that the primary bathroom is a Jack-and-Jill style, shared with the hallway half bath.
The primary bedroom and bathroom, along with the half bath, main living room, small office and kitchen, are all located on the main level.
As you move through the home, you’ll step down to the lower level, where you’ll find the second and third bedrooms, a laundry room, kitchenette, and an additional living area - perfect for spreading out and enjoying your stay.
This home is a great setup for two families or a group of friends, offering both comfort and flexibility for your stay.
Unwind outdoors with a hot water rinse in the outdoor shower, then gather by the fire-pit under the stars. Kids will love the backyard treehouse, while extras like a boogie board, sand toys, kites, and a card table ensure fun for all ages. Stay comfortable year-round with three mini-split A/C and heating units with remotes.
Explore nearby natural wonders including Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park (20 mins away), Tolowa Dunes, Lake Earl, and Crescent City.

This property is amazing! Exactly as described, with great beach access via a set of stairs, leading to a beautiful beach that we had almost completely to ourselves. Great rock hunting beach, and a very clean beach, free of any trash whatsoever. The house itself was immaculate, and the kitchen was stocked with anything you could possibly need! The outside spaces to lounge are abundant, and the host obviously has a green thumb as the gardens are beautiful. It's obvious that they take great pride in this property. The Redwoods are within easy driving distance to the south and there are many other beautiful outside areas to explore to the north. Just a short drive from Crescent City or Brookings, groceries; restaurants, shopping, and entertainment are within easy reach. We have traveled to 48 of the 50 states, using a wide variety of rental properties over the last twenty years, and this one is at the top of the list! I would not hesitate to recommend this property, and would not hesitate to stay here again! Honestly couldn't have been happier. 5 out of 5 stars across the board.

This was the perfect little beach cottage for our family of 3 adults get-away. The house is located conveniently between two small towns, so groceries and gas were easy to get to. I will say that being sure you are turning into the correct driveway at night is a little difficult. There is a nice sized yard and easy access to the beach down some stairs. The kitchen has everything you need. There were plenty of bath towels and beach towels. There's plenty of interesting books, puzzles, and DVDs. The beds were comfy. The house warmed up quickly when we turned the heat on and there was ample hot water for showers. The house was decorated nicely and not fancy so we didn't have to worry about something breaking. You can see the ocean from the comfy couch and hear the waves crashing. I did wake up to the sound of the cars passing on the highway, but I slept in the bedroom with two beds. My daughter was in the single bedroom and didn't notice the noise. Otherwise it is a quiet spot. There are a couple of small rental houses that share the driveway and a motel on the other side of the house, but that was no problem at all. We enjoyed the deck and outdoor fireplace. I would like to mention that if you have anyone with mobility issues, there are steps at the front and back doors. You could enter a sliding door with no steps from the courtyard, but there is still one big step to get up into the main house once inside. We would definitely stay again!
