“This is a very nice old historic inn. It has a restaurant that serves lunch and dinner, and a bar inside, as well as a shady garden with places to sit outside as you enjoy a drink or food. Nice big porch out front with chairs on it too. Our room had another sitting room in it that was nice to have. Not sure if they all do. It includes a free, great breakfast at a sister property a few doors down where the food is made fresh for your order. The property is well kept, clean, and the staff……

“We stayed in Room 3, if the other rooms were as great as ours then it would be hard to beat this location. The view of the river and sunset were awesome. The restaurant service would be hard to beat anywhere and the food was excellent. All in all we loved our stay at Surry Seafood Inn.”

“The hotel needs an update. The carpet, elevators and parking. The restaurant employees were very courteous and professional. However, the check in desk clerk could use a class on common courtesy, not very accommodating. Oh yeah, the water pressure in the vanity sink was very low. It was like at a rest stop.”
