Traveling by myself, I felt extremely comfortable and safe. Loved the large porch with table, and the customized welcome sign next to the front door. As soon as I walked in, I lit up with excitement. Everything about the place was inviting and gave me that warm, at home feeling. Pictures posted are accurate and up to date. I would definitely……

“We were in town for a funeral. The host was wonderful and the property was immaculate. The host had thought of everything that one might need while staying. It was clean, well maintained and in a great location. This is definitely one of the nicest properties we have stayed at!”

“Very nice place, I was able to back boat right in to gravel spot and leave hooked up to truck. Only complaint was bunk bed needs new and better mattresses. 5 minutes from boat launch.”

“Rustic is the keyword. Uneven floor/foundation makes walking awkward, especially for older folks. But they have a very well stocked kitchen and lots of extras, including coffee pods for the Keurig! Washer and dryer is a great plus. A welcome manual would help with info about TV, hot water, beach parking and WIFI. A little TLC would go a long way to fix this place up but we had a good stay. Property owner is quick to respond.”

“Comfy, cosy, clean, beautiful decor. That’s what you see when you first walk in. Then you explore all the treasures that have been collected and tastefully placed in this home. Lots of love…that’s what it’s been given. The view of the lake from the foyer with its many windows is lovely as you sit at the beautiful little antique table and take it all in…”

“Nice clean cottage, stocked with alot of little extras to sweeten the stay! Everything you need to relax and kick back. I LOVED the beach for rock collecting and found some keepers! AWESOME breakfast just down the road at a really reasonable price and enough that we weren't hungry even by supper time. Crystal is also very responsive with any questions. “We would have rated this higher had it not been for the undisclosed video surveillance. At least 3 cameras outside-which are allowed if properly disclosed. But most bothersome is the indoor camera in the Lakehouse (just one-as far as we could find). When we contacted the host about the camera concerns we were told that 1) she didn’t feel the need to notify us since she received an alert that we unplugged it-thus we “already knew about it”, 2) the indoor camera was there since there were……

“We greatly enjoyed our time here. As soon as we walked in, it felt like home. The home is very roomy and yet, very comfy. Plenty of sleeping areas, entertainment areas, provided everything needed for a great family getaway. Firepit and being steps away from the lake with breathtaking sunrises was a plus - the memories made, were unforgettable! Host is very responsive. I had several questions as we weren't familiar with the Lexington area and she was very accommodating with lots of suggestions……

“Very nice property with enough beds and baths for the 9 of us to have small beach vacation. Our GPS took us right to the house and the beach was exactly what we wanted.”

“Pool area is small and you can REALLY hear loud guests from the suite overlooking the area. The suite was lovely. Spacious and you can never go wrong with the hot tub in the room! It's a 10 minute drive from downtown Port Huron so it was very convenient. Pay a little extra for the suite for your long romantic weekends. Totally worth it, and you can pay in four parts via Paypal. ”
