"Quite discouraging that the hotel staff prioritized staff convenience over the guests experience. This property uses old-fashioned keys, hence it was obvious that virtually all of the third floor was vacant. But the rooms with the views were not offered. Quite disappointing. "

"The location is serene and beautiful. I was welcomed warmly and given a brief tour. There's a restaurant on site that served a 4 course pre-selected menu that was generous, delicious, and comprised of local fresh caught ingredients. Very quiet room with a window to listen to the ocean. Breakfast was cozy the next morning and checkout was very easy. Just past Ytri Tunga, this is a perfect evening stay after exploring the upper peninsula."

"Stayed two nights amidst a snow storm. Food was good, especially the soups. Room met expectations. Location perfect for exploring the area and coast."
