Solitude is a family-friendly mountain resort owned by Alterra Mountain Company. Small enough to feel relaxed and close to nature with no lift lines but big enough to boast new facilities, high quality on-site services, and luxury amenities. Blessed with the best snow and beautiful weather, Solitude offers terrain for every snowboarder and skier.

When you have had as many powder turns as your legs can handle, you get to ski right down to the Honeycomb Condo! Warm up by the fireplace, make some cocoa in your lovely kitchen and snuggle up on the couch. Still looking for more fun things to do? Every 'off-the-slopes' activity is available just outside your door! Swimming pool, hot tubs, hot saunas, fitness center, kids game room, theater room, and the luxurious Solitude Mountain Spa.

The Honeycomb condo sleeps 6 on one king bed, a bunk bed, and a queen sleeper- sofa. It includes a private master bedroom, den, bathroom, living room, dining area, full kitchen, fireplace, private deck, secure underground parking, ski lockers, HD television and wireless Internet.

Just as advertised!

The condo was perfect. Located in the Village just off the slopes. Tim provided easy check-in instructions along with a host of other info that was very handy. The condo also allows access to the Solitude Club which includes a club house, outdoor pool and hot tubs.

Great location, simple condo, well stocked with kitchen/bathroom ware. Was surprised that we had to request toilet paper and tissue on day one (only had the roll on the holder for a week long stay). Stated that toilet paper and tissue was provided, so we didn't buy any. Village convenience store ran out, so that wasn't an option, and we didn't have a car. No humidifier found, after being told there was one. Live mouse found in condo, which can happen to any homeowner, so no big deal. Communication from owner on this was: "Thanks" Only one key card for condo was in check-in box; owner was very responsive to this and told us how to get another.

Perfect location

Perfect location for skiing at Solitude and a bus ride away to ski at Brighton. Check-in process was fairly easy once you locate the building. Access to multiple hot tubs straightforward. Tim (host) was quick to respond to any inquiries. Will definitely come back again!

Enjoyed our stay. Furnishings were comfortable and kitchen was well stocked with appliances etc. host was very responsive and info sent was informative and spot on. Enjoyed hot tub and amenities (game room with air hockey, foosball, etc) in the club in the next building over Direct TV was a little complicated to get to at first with the remotes at first but we eventually figured it out Used laundry facilities on the other floor. Only hiccup there (which makes perfect sense ) is limitation on the hours of use so pay attention to that if planning laundry for after a day on the slopes

Mountain Stay

Excellent stay once again! The bump out with the bunk beds was perfect for the boys. Resort staff came very quick when we needed help with something. Condo had everything we needed and the small convenience store always works well for breakfast, snacks and drinks. Resort being decorated for Christmas was an added bonus!

Absolute Perfection

Perfect place for an extended stay with kids. Not only was it super close to lifts and restaurants, but it is also near the hot tubs and pool at Eagle East. The condo was spacious and well equipped. The owner, Tim, is very responsive. Solitude is a hidden gem so we've found our new go-to ski vacation spot. Thanks again for an amazing week that the kids still rave about almost 2 months later!

Convenient and comfortable

We arrived with a car full of ski gear and food for a 4-day stay right before a winter storm delivered 4 feet of snow over 3 days. Parking was a breeze. The owner was answered my call when I had a question on check-in and answered it immediately. Climate, water pressure, water temperature, and WiFi were all great. We were able to comfortably make meals at home in the morning and night. It's a short walk to the lifts. And the Club Solitude amenities across the walkway (2 communal hot tubs, a heated pool, game room, movie room) were excellent after a day on the slopes. We're a family of 4 and our boys, ages 9 and 11, were happy in the bunk bed (which was a little creaky, but otherwise fine). A good option for a family of 4 with 2 young kids at Solitude.

Nice location, with easy access to the Solitude Resort facilities. Very quiet - fantastic sound proofing for walls and doors. Super comfy MBR bed. Very fast and reliable internet connection - even during the busiest times of the year. Reliable heating. Wish I could go back for another week of skiing.

Wonderful ski vaca for work-from-home / remote school

This condo is great, we loved the skiing - but our schedules were setup to ski in the AM and work/school in the PM and it worked out great. There were plenty of workspaces we were able to set up to keep all 4 of us on (important) video calls at same time. The Internet is Fiber with speeds > 250Mbps up/down - very impressed for the mountain region. The garage kept our car warm and snow-free and was easy to use. The skiing at Solitude was beautiful and the few days we crossed to Brighton were also a lot of fun, but the kids preferred Solitude. Club Solitude reservations kept us well relaxed in the Hot Tub and we didn't eat out / get take out once as the kitchen was well stocked with all we needed (even a great crockpot). The condo came very clean with all sorts of new tissues/nice touches. It's a nice building and residents try to be reasonably safe. A few hints: ATM is in the Pizza place outside, Village Store has more than you might expect, cross country at Brighton is a lot of fun. Hot Tub in the building is warmer than at Club Solitude. Lessons are a great deal at Solitude this year - look into it!
