The setting of the La Fortezza is absolutely beautiful, it’s such a gem, one of the most special places we have been. The hotels 16 rooms are located in an historic fortress with stunning views. After a long drive in an enchanting forest you get to the magical SORANO and this hotel. We loved it. The rooms are very pretty and clean and have been renovated in a very unique way with very good taste. The buffet breakfast was very nice. And dinner in their roof patio was lovely. Very nice staff. Will definitely come again !

This is one of the most unique hotels in all of Tuscany. Situated in 12the century fortress, this place combines the exquisite taste of the owner and management with the old charm of Sorano. I would highly recommend it to all travellers.
