"I had a lovely week, away from it all, in Haute Correze. I love the area though I wasn't familiar with Ussel and its surroundings but found loads of new places to see and things to do. The accomodation was very spacious (I was alone), the dining room, kitchen and bathroom all well- equipped. I was there during a heatwave and the terrace was sometimes just too hot to sit out on, but still an asset to the property."

"Très agréable petit séjour à Treignac.L'appartement est très bien équipé et offre une superbe vue.Quand à Patrick c'est une personne très agréable et réactive.Nous reviendrons à Treignac avec un grand plaisir."

"Logement correct, mais manque d’espace (le bar dans la cuisine est très gênant) Dommage que dans la description il ne soit pas précisé que 2 chambres sont en enfilade. "Séjour agréable.Maison de ville conforme à la description. L'espace cuisine manque d'un peu plus de lumière. Il manque un wc indépendant, non précisé dans la description. Il faut accéder à l'une des deux chambres aux étages. Nous avons eu un souci avec la boîte à clés,car la clé est trop grande et a bloqué la boîte. Difficile de communiquer avec l'hôte car décalage avec son lieu d'habitation. Le reste est bien.En partant j'ai laissé un message à la personne qui s'occupe du gîte,mais n'est pas eu...

Nobody around on arrival

"This was a one night stay for a short visit to the region for family reasons. There was nobody around on arrival. The restaurant was closed.There was a handwritten message stuck to the inside of the window explaining how to get to our room. The key was in the door. I needed to use the Wi-Fi during my stay but wasn’t informed what the password was and there was nobody around to ask. On leaving the restaurant was open and there was somebody there to take the key. Service was very poor, but I guess you get what you pay for."

"Dear gods! I thought I'd have a tiny, but cute room. Place was bigger than my house! Full kitchen. Raindrop shower. And the ceilings...just exposed beams and gorgeous. Proper ceiling fan, not an occilator on a table (which works fine, but still). It was a very short walk from the Aubusson station and the tapestry museum. Oh, and the brunch they now offer (i was informed that it is new), they have everything from quiche to breads, croissants, coddled eggs, tarts that are out of this world. Also, we got a bit of a show. They bring in goats to manicure the lawns, such as they are. The goats paraded by our table and were adorable. I mean, i know goats csn get unrully, but these little suckers were focused on getting to their meal. I love them! Basically, just stay here."

Truly lovely

"Beautiful setting, pleasant and clean accommodations. Food at breakfast and table d'hote dinner was delicious and fresh, much of it harvested on site. Nearby Aubusson is charming, with small shops and bistros. The proprietors are delightful, warm, and hospitable. They both speak some English and were patient with our limited French. And they went out of their way to be kind and helpful, especially to my wife, who was recovering from an illness while we were there. Highly recommended!"
