The unit was clean and updated. My daughter and I both found the mattresses on the bed and the sofa bed to be very hard and uncomfortable. The property would benefit from a proper closet and/or a dresser. we ended up leaving our suitcases open on the floor most of the week.There are also units with a clothes washer, but this one did not have it. I believe I read the description for the other unit in this building and specifically rented from Casa Annalu because I thought there was a washer. That was a bit disappointing, but I must have made that mistake myself. I never did figure out how to use the coffee maker. It was the espresso kind with a pod, but it leaked everywhere. So I ended up drinking instant coffee the whole week. there was a small fridge, which was very helpful. There were several restaurants right there at the marina, which was very convenient for dinner. There is also a shuttle bus for only two euros per person that would drop you off up in the main part of the city. That was definitely a plus!

The location of this apartment is really nice. You're literally at Marina Grande, however, you don't have a beach view (some photos make it seem as if the building is directly facing the beach, it's not, you can't see the beach from your room balcony) It's still a great location because you can enjoy the beach at literally 1 minute walking distance, and you can easily reach Sorrento's center and Sorrento's ferries port in a 15 to 20 minutes walk. We did it every day and it was very smooth. There are stairs to climb up but fairly easy to do. The room was clean and got everything listed. You have a balcony outside and a decent sized fridge to put your stuff. Coffee machine, boiler, iron and ironing board and a closet with lots of hangers. There is even a sofa bed. Communication with the host was super smooth and he was always very responsive. One thing to keep in mind which I think is the law in Sorrento is that you have to sort your garbage (plastics, paper, general waste, etc.) For the price I think you are getting a top location with lots of restaurants nearby and a groceries store. When you arrive to the marina grande beach (water to your right) the building will be on your right with a small blue sign that says "annalu" but anyways the host will help you find it.

It is a nice one bedroom apartment with a nice little balcony close to the harbor. Nice location. There are some things that need to be fixed and the introduction manual needs to be updated. There is no longer a dish washer, for example. It was hard to get a hold of the owner, which caused some nervousness, apparently because of different offerings, but it worked out and she was very friendly. All in all we enjoyed it for the atmosphere.
