“The owner Sophia is a very warm person. She keeps the house clean and elegant. Breakfast is excellent. The house is located near the central area of Barossa Valley. We had a very pleasant stay at the house. ”

“We loved the serenity of the property and the animals were a big hit with our children. The owners dog came up for a visit and had lots of cuddles with our kids. We would have given it a 5 star rating but the bbq didn't have any gas so we couldn't use it. Would definitely recommend to family and friends and we will visit again.”

She drove Steve to the Adelaide Oval to save him from walking in the extraordinary heat and collected him with a refreshing cold beer after a stressful days play (from an England perspective!). “We booked in at Sandilira as we were flying in from BNE for a wedding at Lakebreeze. I picked the venue as it looked like it had old-world charm. It did! I’m so glad we booked in for three nights. The town and cottage are an absolute break from busy society. Russell and Lyn stocked the fridge up more than generously, the swallows had us entertained with their back and forth feeding their young, the cottage was comfy and had warm fluffy dressing gowns waiting for us on a freezing Saturday night……
