「My husband and I spent the weekend here, and it was absolutely wonderful. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and such a refreshing escape from the city. We enjoyed watching the birds, but the highlight for me was seeing the baby deer roaming around. It was magical. At night, the stars were breathtaking, and the quiet made it even more special. 「The Sanctuary is a magical place carved into nature where for a short time the weary traveler can rest their body and their soul. The deer, beavers, swans and cranes were excellent hosts. The cabin is spacious, comfortable and well furnished. The human hosts are also gracious and welcoming. I've stayed there twice and hope to return again. 」

「Definitely not for the mobility-challenged - the ladder-stairs to the loft don't really give you a lot of good hand-holds so it felt precarious to us. super cozy decor, comfortably maintained, and lots of other nice touches. if you're spry it's a lot of fun, i'm sure. the loft is a small space, with a nice gas fireplace. i still think a spiral staircase would fit the space well...」
