"I’ve stayed at the Dayton House for over 20 years and have always enjoyed my visits. My overall stay was still good, but I was a bit disappointed this time with the room and housekeeping.
We booked a partial ocean view and were placed on the 2nd floor of the north building. The room was quite shaded, with very little sunlight and mostly a view of another building and the pool, with only a small glimpse of the ocean. We did ask to move to a higher floor but understand that wasn’t possible.
Housekeeping also felt different this stay, as only the bathroom was serviced and the bed wasn’t refreshed like in past visits.
I would still return, but next time I’ll will definitely take the advice I received to request a higher floor in the south building for a better view and experience."
