“酒店總共有2層, 下面3間房, 數上4間房, 周邊環境好好有古代鄉村, 而酒店建築物都給予1930年代外觀, 最特別係CHECK-IN係酒吧餐廳入面, 而晚餐和早餐價錢都優惠不貴, 食物質素幾好. 而各服務員十分有禮貌好有笑容值得一讚. 唯一少許不滿意浴室浴缸較為不清潔.”

“The host was very welcoming and immediately made me feel at home. Breakfast had lots of choices for different appetites. My room was lovely with a fan for the heat, plenty of tea, coffee, etc. and a powerful shower. All in all a great place to visit.”

“We found the Tap House to be a disappointing stay, full of contradictions. The checkin was easy and the staff friendly. We stayed in a two bedroom unit, which has a sitting area and kitchen. The room was nice but tired with dirty doors and some broken/missing fixtures (door return hanging off, cable trunking missing capping). The kitchen had a kettle and a Lor coffee maker but no tea or coffee, cups but no glasses, knives and forks but no cooking utensils (except for can opener, peeler and……

“If for nothing else, 5* because they understand that the milk sachets don't give you enough milk to make a decent cuppa. Most hotels etc will give you 2-4, (yes you can ask for more) but this place gives you a well stocked tea/coffee area! Else where, lovely property right on the river bank with great views. Very friendly, accommodating and well informed owners. The room was lovely and well presented. Very cosy bed and linen which gave us both a lovely nights sleep. 5-10 minute drive to……

“Booked as we had an early flight from East Midlands airport. Owner met us soon after we arrived. Nice room, great comfy bed, very good shower. Advised there was a good restaurant just down the road (15 min walk) which we visited and had a very tasty meal. Left in the morning too early for breakfast, but not host’s fault. Very good nights sleep. Plenty of parking. Road to airport a bit narrow and windy, but we made it in plenty of time. Would recommend.”

“We were told shortly before arriving that there is no bar or restaurant and no breakfast. I'm not sure if the property is still under the OYO brand? The welcome we had was very good but the bathroom had lots of cobwebs and was not very clean”

“Only one towel for the room, stairs with no elevator option. No air conditioning available. Provided fan didn’t actually work. Bathroom sink was broken. Toilet flush mechanism worked every 3rd flush. People next door were smoking and the smoke was coming into our window. And to top it off, I got food poisoning from the attached restaurant. Avoid this place at all costs. Only thing good was the hotel staff.”
