“Overall comfortable, safe, equipped and close to where we were going. House was clean, well stocked. Beds were comfortable. Only complaint was a bit noisy for us being in town. Neighbor had a loud motorcycle, train was new sound for us lol. We live in the quiet country so we didn't get much sleep. We did not use the kitchen cause we stayed one night. Kitchen seemed stocked however a small ant problem. Tiny ants on counter and sink. Really that was my only complaint. Better than a hotel!! Came……

“Let me just say this rental was way more than we could have expected. There were 9 in our party and we had plenty of room. The kids and young adults loved the downstairs and spent most of their time there. The two bathrooms were adequately stocked with towels and toiletries for us. The host reached out several times during our short two-day stay to make sure we had settled in and to make sure we didn't need anything!! The location was perfect not too far from anything. Quiet neighborhood!!!”

“The house was drafty, the front upstairs bedroom had NO heat going to it, there is no insulation so the floors are freezing and the laundry was in the dungeon of a basement. The leaky toilet was obvious since there was blue on the toilet and floor & there was no hot water for showers. There needs to be more than one tv in the house and needs to have basics like a hairdryer & pam spray with some basic spices. The back bedroom’s bed is hard as a rock. I don’t normally write reviews but the whole……

“Second trip from CA to visit homeland of OH with my son and daughter. We love the location for visiting family in Kettering, Centerville, Mason, Cincinnati, and Beavercreek. We fished in the pond, catching large mouth bass and blue gills by the dozen (then release). I have nothing but great things to say about the Host & his family. For me, the Windmill House is best kept secret; but I promised to leave this review. Thanks again to super duper Host and Family. - G. J. & C. Hojnacki”

“We had come to the area for a funeral in Middletown. This home was perfect for us. We were able to meet our obligations with the funeral and time with family but had a space where we could relax and reflect in a quiet and comfortable home. The host was wonderful and attentive to our needs.”
