Mixed emotions.
"Welcome was friendly & very helpful. Building quaint. Very clean. Some nice wee touches. No food available. Basic amenities in room lacking - no bin in bathroom, bed sagging at one side, lack of sockets, unable to get shower to work - no one in property in morning to ask for help. Noise from bar ..."

"Great few nights here. Ideal location for working in the area. Had food one night in bar and was really good, breakfast good each morning, staff all very friendly and helpful. Room was quiet and spacious."

Lovely, relaxing and well-equipped
"We spent a very enjoyable few days in this lovely property in Rutland. Very well set up, gorgeous area, and Lynn and Alan were so welcoming and helpful. Would love to go back if we ever visit the UK again."

A perfect getaway
"Well furnished and well equipped place which was clean and stylish. We only stayed a couple of nights but enjoyed the peace and break away. We had a lovely meal at The Stag and Hounds- would highly recommend. John was always there if we needed him and was very informative."
