“We loved how close the stay was for everything we were going to do! We went Kayaking and saw the bats in Nickajack lake, and it wasn't far from the lodge store or Chattanooga! We could go to city of Chattanooga and still be in the more mountainous, non city area. This cabin was great for the 4 adults that stayed, since we did not stay much in it. The only thing is the main bedroom did not have an A/C, but there was a fan and then another portable fan to keep it cooler for the summer months. It……

“This location was great. The cabin had everything we needed. We encountered a few bugs, but thats to be expected when you're out in the woods. The creek was bone dry, but it was a very short walk to a public access area at the river. My kids loved it so much. They got to wake up and play outside right away every morning. “Me and my partner of 7 years wanted to celebrate in Chattanooga and found the perfect place to stay in this cabin. Had a great first impression just driving up to it as it’s surrounded by small ponds and gardens. It was neat and clean, and had a few snacks that I definitely partook in. It was quite peaceful and quiet there, and was a great opportunity to just unwind and relax wholly. 10/10 would absolutely stay again! ”

“The place was very clean and I appreciated the host. I was expecting a long clean up list only to find they didnt have one for when i was leaving so my morning was pretty relaxing. “We enjoyed our stay at this quiet spot. We kayaked the lake without disturbances and only saw a handful of other people on the water. But be prepared to get muddy on your way down into the water. “I booked this home on the assumption that the kayak was for a full sized person and not a child. So, if that’s important to you bring your own. The kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of towels and blankets. The home suited our family of 6 well. The back and Front porches were lovely. The side porch off of the master was not in good shape and we chose not to use it.
