“I loved staying at this house. It was a historic house with really nice updates inside. The house was as described and it was very clean. I appreciated all the info the host supplied before we came. They gave eating info and where to buy groceries. The neighborhood felt safe and would stay here again.”

“We stayed with our family of 30 people, including 15 grandkids. There are only 4 private bedrooms, but the endless bunk beds in the basement made such a FUN sleeping place! The property was even better than we had imagined, with a gorgeous view of the Mississippi River and acres of grass for playing football and other games. We stayed there in June and enjoyed the magic of fireflies at night, but the favorite activity was swimming in the POOL! It was a lovely place to stay.”

A little search on Vrbo, we found a historic home to stay in. What a treat! The rental was beyond the price point we usually seek but the home was the cherry on top of a wonderful visit. “Darling, peaceful home with beautiful views of the Mississippi River. Super clean, newly renovated, with well stocked kitchen. Plenty of blankets, sheets, and towels for everyone. Our family enjoyed our time together playing games at the round dining table. Even had a nice picnic by the river. Home is in such a great location. Close to historic Nauvoo and close to grocery stores and restaurants in Keokuk. We would totally love to stay here again.”
