“This was a great place to take a break from our AB&B stays. The property is gorgeous. The bed were great. We both got a good nights sleep. The room was a nice size. An ice machine would have been the one thing that would have made this perfect. Oh yes and the breakfast was one of the best in our last 10 weeks of travel.”

It’s adorable and you feel like you walked onto a movie set. The room was super comfortable & spacious with everything that I needed. Great bed & very quiet. I highly recommend this property. “The hotel grounds are beautiful, and the staff went out of their way to help us. We were assigned a "family" room with an inredible view, even though we had requested a King. There was no problem in switching over - we understood that the girl at reception was giving us an upgrade with the view, but we preferred the larger bed. Our rate included breakfast and dinner. We had the same server (Erica) each night, and she was so fantastic.”

“The character of the castle is excellent. Christian toured me around the proper and is a superb concierge. The room itself is lacking. It smells strongly of mildew. Carpeting is worn. Amenities like coffee and cookies need an update. The food at dinner was overly salted and the service declined during the dinner - strong start and a weak finish.”

“Basic accommodation in a building separate from the pub. My room smelt a bit weird. The shower lacked vigour and could not be detached from the wall. The staff were good.”
