Close to the busy, touristy villages for visits but we were glad to escape back to the quiet after a day out exploring. The cottage is extremely well equipped and very comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Mark is a very responsive host and gave us lots of information on the area. Hope to return soon. ”

“It was a lovely stay at this apartment. The unit is spacious, well equipped and clean. You have everything you need which is absolutely wonderful. Very convenient location with just 5-min walk to the nearby shopping centre. Check-in and check-out instructions were clear and efficient. The process was smooth and the communication with their staff was very good. I received prompt replies from them and they were very helpful in terms of following up my inquiries and problems. “This stay at Blackthorn went above and beyond what I needed - some time and space for myself to write. In the comfort and peace of this hut in this location, I was able to write nearly 10,000 words, unheard of in my everyday busy life at home! The hut was perfect, the bed extremely comfortable with high-quality linens and duvet/pillows. Kitchen very well-supplied with everything I needed (and more). The bathroom was great too, shower a little on the less-powerful side, but I expected that seeing……

It was great to have the village only a stones throw away, yet it was extremely quiet during our stay, even when it was pouring down with rain. Although we had to get some bits for the fire, it was handy to have a shop nearby to get it. Wi-Fi isn’t particularly strong but was fine to get by. ”

“Lovely, clean and comfortable property with everything you need for a enjoyable stay. Position on the park is good; just a few minutes walk to the main centre. Not a brilliant amount to do at the park itself, but a great base to explore the Cotswold's from. Communication from the host was excellent from the point we booked it to the day we left.”
