"Hotel looks very modern but has a friendly feel to it. Bedroom was clean and comfortable. The hotel was very busy and the staff worked hard at maintain the food and clearing tables. We did know that the evening meal had only one main dish. However I think more could be done to provide for someone who did or could not eat the food. Maybe more choice of salad. Coffee or tea always available is a nice touch. View over the river and walk around lovely"

"Beautiful, historic property. Rooms were nice, dining area was very historic feeling, enjoyed a nice dinner and breakfast buffet the next morning was varied and high quality. Outdoor dining is available weather permitting, grounds are lovely. Loved all the photos and personal items around the home, it was nice to see previous owners and uses, I love history, so this was a real treat for me. "

"A stunning old building with a lot of character in a beautiful town. I stayed here for 2 weeks and enjoyed everyday. The breakfast is from 6am and has so much choice, everyone was so friendly and helpful to me, the dinner was delicious and well priced, even the gym is very well equipped! I would love to stay here again "
