We loved our room at apartment Poesia and Frane was the perfect host. He communicated with us ahead of our arrival, helped with finding parking which can be a bit tricky as the area is very busy with both locals and tourists, and was very welcoming and friendly. The location is perfect for sightiseeing in Split, as well as using it as base to visit nearby towns. There is a supermarket just around the corner. There is a local market selling fruit and veg every day, local shops and cafes, literally at your doorstep. Could not fault it anf will be back again!

Huippu sijainti ihan keskustan vueressä, mutta rauhallisella sivukadulla. Kaksi ruokakauppaa vieressä. Lattia ja parveke olivat likaiset, muuten siisti ja erittäin hyvä asunto.

Noise isolation does not exist, you can hear everyone coughing, locking doors, and talking on the phone. "City view" is apparently court parking and neighbour's building, which is unclear from the posting picture. Door lock gets jammed, so be prepared to dance with it for good 20 mins trying to find the right angle. It is clean and close to downtown but I would not be staying again for this price.

The cleanliness of the accommodation was below average and should definitely be improved. One set of towels had stains, and there was also a stain on a corner of the duvet, which was disappointing. That said, the stay was still generally comfortable, and the price is fair for what you get. The city beach is about a 15-minute walk away, which was really convenient. Another big plus was the friendly and helpful contact with Frane, who was always available via WhatsApp. If you’re mostly out exploring and just need a place to sleep and shower, it’s a good option — as long as the hygiene and cleanliness are taken more seriously in the future.

Dagligvare i nærheten. Kort vei til stranden.
