Great Location

We could easily walk to shops, restaurants, the market, the Palace, and the sea from this comfortable and well appointed apartment. The owner was very accessible and we enjoyed our stay overall before heading to other parts of Croatia.

We had an excellent stay. Laura helped us with transfers to and from airport. She arranged a city tour with restaurant recommendations and local dishes we needed to try. The accommodations were perfect for group of 4 ladies, and we had everything we needed. Laura gifted us a bottle of local wine and recommended a wine tasting at local place. The location was absolutely perfect , highly recommend this VRBO and Laura

Great Apartment, Great Location!

My husband, sister, brother-in-law, and I stayed at this property for 2 nights. The apartment is exactly as pictured and the property description is accurate, except for the fact it is located on the 3rd floor (39 steps) and has an additional 15 steps inside the apartment to get to the bedrooms. If steps are an issue, or if you have a lot of luggage, this could be a problem. Otherwise, the location of the property is ideal and it is a very comfortable apartment with plenty of space to relax. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms and showers are excellent. There are two washing machines which came in handy, but no dryer. There is a clothes line and clips available off of one bedroom balcony. We thoroughly enjoyed our time staying in this apartment.

Host very accommodating and helpful. Property had Lots of delayed maintenance. Torn/unuseable window screens, many burned out light bulbs, cracked/broken tile thresholds. Beds fabulously comfortable. While the photos showing are not accurate, the apartment was very nice and clean. The host was very kind and helped us bring the luggage up several stair cases, which we were not aware we had to climb. We enjoyed our stay.

Fanatic Location

This apartment is in a fantastic location next to the old city. Literally you walk outside of the apartment and you are in the heart of the downtown Split. Communication was great and we felt taken care of. Laura (I believe) who I communicated with was fanatic!The only call out is if you have mobility issues this might not be the place for you. The spiral staircase from the first floor of the apartment to the second floor with the bedrooms was really steep. We were fine but our parents would not have felt comfortable walking up and down the stairs.

Worked well

The apartment is as pictured, and in close proximity to the bay and attractions. Laura offered us an airport pick up. While she’d initially quoted a price of $50, she matched the cost of an Uber, which was half of that. Her husband, Paul, met us at the airport and was friendly and welcoming. We were able to check in early as well. The apartment has AC which kept it very comfortable. We stayed only one night so didn’t use the kitchen. It would be helpful to have instructions on how to use the stove and oven for non-Europeans who might like to use the kitchen that was well stocked with pots, pans, and table service for a large group. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby.
