“This location was amazing, so close to some awesome bars and restaurants and super close to the metro to easy access to anywhere. The neighborhood was so cute and the house was super clean.”

“Property served as an excellent Hill base camp for exploring DC. Walkable to grocery store, playgrounds, parks, museums, metro, Mall, Pennsylvania Ave. Well-equipped kitchen allowed for some “home” cooking. The price is high, considering the condition of the house, though it’s not in poor shape. Had a great weekend.”

“The property owner is great! When we got there, the blow dryer was on its last leg to say the least. I messaged the property owner and a new one was at the front door when we got back from dinner! The house has all the kitchen stuff you need … even a Britta water filter in the refrigerator. The owner also left us a bottle of wine. If you’re a foodie the location is an easy walk to some great restaurants. Get the Michelin Guide and know you can’t go wrong with any of the Bib Gourmand rated……

“Had a good stay at Kelly’s place for a couple of days during our trip to Washington DC. It is very conveniently located and a good place for a family of 4. The apartment is nicely kept and has the right amenities for a family. We had a good time relaxing and doing fun things in the evenings as well with the board games at the apartment. Thanks Kelly!”

“My friends and I stayed in this home. It was a very spacious home, in a convenient and safe location, very close to the metro and made for a wonderful getaway. The kitchen was clean and adequately supplied. The bathrooms are a bit small but at least there are three of them. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.”

“We stayed here to visit the Mall and it was exactly as described. The walk to the Metro is a little longer then we'd hoped (took about an hour to get down on the Mall from our house), but the neighborhood is lovely and the grocery store on the way to and from the Metro was super handy. We'd stay again!”

“We enjoyed our stay. The property is in a great location to enjoy Eastern Market or walk to the capital. We arrived with our 18 year old son to spend Easter weekend and visit with our older daughters. Our daughter lives near the rental and it was super convenient to join her for dinner and drinks at walkable locations. If you have downtime or just want to sit and chat, its a charming location with a perfectly hidden back patio and garden. We had a nice quiet weekend with a little excitement when……

“The property is beautifully decorated and very clean. It was very nice for a long weekend in DC. It does have a lot of stairs. Would not recommend for someone who has difficulty climbing stairs. For those who plan to use the metro there was not a metro station within walking distance.”

“Lovely home in a beautiful neighborhood that is close to many restaurants and shopping. The area is especially easy to find your way around. As a group of 6 women 68-70 years, we were excited to find a home with enough individual beds to accommodate everyone. The 3 1/2 bathrooms were an added bonus. We found the home to be very clean and the neighborhood to be safe. We absolutely loved the open room concept downstairs. Unfortunately the furniture was a problem for our age group. The beds were……

“Good location, slightly off the beaten path. Plenty of room, bridge and driveway slightly intimidating at first, but you figure it out and it is a very nice place.”

“Sister's trip. As listed. Good price for what is offered. Quiet neighborhood. Host very responsive. What I liked: Quite neighborhood, plenty of space What I didn't like: Heating was uneven....warms up quick upstairs but not in the basement. Overall, great property and would recommend.”

“Place is nice and clean, no problems at all. Host always responds in a timely manner. Several bus stops withing a short walk. Neighborhood is clean and safe, walked all over in the area at night and never felt unsafe. There are 2 metro stations within walking distance, but they are a little farther than bus stops. Will stay again when im back in the DC area.”
