“Well we went the backyard needed fixing up,wasn’t even the same furniture in the patio the oven was a mess that was the whole point of staying there so we could make our meals instead of eating out all the time then the ice maker on the fridge didn’t work it was just basically a roof over our heads wasn’t luxury like they advertised it to be”

“Our family had the best time in Alexandria and DC proper with The George as our homebase. Beds were very comfortable, living space and linens were all fresh and clean. The property is very close to a Safeway grocery store and with all the amenities The George offered we could easily prepare meals. The creative decor in shades of blue and coral, and special attention to detail all around the home, namely the hand painted mural in the living room, treated us all to an exceptional patriotic, DC……

“We took an eight day trip for my daughter to visit colleges and out of the 5 different places we stayed, this was by far the best. It’s a really nice house, great layout, and had everything we needed. I’m sensitive to noise and was worried about the busy road nearby, but it wasn’t really a problem. Good windows helped with that. Very nice, comfortable bed in master. If I come back to the DC area, I would absolutely stay here again. Thanks, Drew!”

“This basement studio apartment is very clean and presented as pictured. The neighborhood is quiet and easy to locate. Host provided thoughtful touches such as bottled water and snacks, which is always nice to have after a day of travel. There were plenty of clean towels and linens, along with bath soap and shampoo in the shower.I would note that entering the apartment requires walking down a narrow set of twelve steps, something to consider if you have mobility concerns. “We stayed here while on our visit to Washington DC, and it was so convenient for visiting the city. The house was spotless with very comfortable, clean furniture throughout. The kitchen is beautiful with newer appliances. The bathrooms both had great showers with really good water pressure and plenty of hot water. “All rooms were spacious and very clean. Location is a quiet and parking was very convenient. The only suggestion is that for individuals who are chemically sensitive the air plug ins that are used are overwhelming. If you unplug them the smell quickly dissipates. I would highly recommend this rental.”
