「Had a wonderful time at the cottage! It was very clean, had wonderful views, and close to everything in the area. Roann was also amazing! Not only did she answer any questions we had but gave us a tour / tasting of the distillery, which we couldn't help but buy a bottle ourselves to have in the evenings when we got back to the house - we aren't typically gin drinkers but we enjoyed this one just over ice! Overall a wonderful experience and will definitely be back!」

「The property is high in the mountain and remote from the town. The view is spectacular, and we enjoyed excellent privacy for a tranquil stay. Management was flexible and worked well with us.Be aware that the neither the pin nor the address provided on the website lead you to the resort. Make sure to get driving directions before you arrive in Dominica. 」

「Berkey himself is a gracious, helpful, and thoughtful host. His communications are excellent and once there, he will be there for you. He attends to details and has pride in this hideaway. It requires a walk up ~40 steep steps but once on top, your are in a beautiful valley with wildlife and jungle sounds. Accommodations are basic but sufficient, if you are looking for an experience more like Dominica than a luxury hotel, Berkey's place is fine. Access to the property is straightforward and...

「Overall we loved it, though it would have been good to know that you can't drive to the hotel if you don't have a proper 4WD as it is located at the end of a long and steep tarished road. Luckily the hotel offers an transport service for the dirty road between 8am and 5pm. They also offer food(preorder only) and drinks at the bar. The staff was very nice and always helpful. Our favourite was the weekday driver. The cottage had a very nice kitchen unfortunately not much utensils in it... Being so...
