This is a funky little place (as I read in the previous reviews. The room was well aportioned, the manager nice, and a local restaurant for dinner was excellent. Cafe for breakfast was also nearby. We would highly recommend this place.

Exceeded expectations

What a great place to stay overnight. The host got our room heater, electric blankets on prior to our arrival what a great gesture going above and beyond. Friendly staff, room was very clean and spacious, bathroom clean. Comfortable bed and clean linen. The area is quiet as well.

Most of the town was closed after 4pm so had only one place to get a meal, at the local pub. Fairly quiet and clean room. Got a good sleep.

Good place to stay in St Arnaud. We had the family room and there was enough space for 4, though perhaps not for multiple nights. There is a Smart TV which is a plus but it's a little far from town to walk. There is a bit of traffic noise from big trucks on the roundabout, but it is less at night and didn't affect our sleep. The place is reasonably dark with good curtains.
