「Property is about a mile away from St. George Street which I consider to be the downtown historic district. Therefore, it is a car drive with a $20 parking fee or an Uber if you want to go downtown. For the same reason, I find that a major hotel brand with its own parking lot to be nickel and diming guests to pay a nightly parking fee which also happens to be $20. But I guess that's a cost to figure into a travel budget to a tourist destination nowadays. Other than that, hotel was spotless,...

「All staff we met during our stay were very courteous and friendly. Adam was at the front desk during check-in and the majority of our stay. The continental breakfast was simple, but perfect. The kitchen came stocked with paper towels, a sponge, dish soap and dishwasher tabs, so we didn’t have to go out and purchase anything to clean up after ourselves. Housekeeping comes every other day, but they were more than willing to give us a fresh set of towels at the front desk after we used the pool. 」

「This could have been a 3 star review, BUT.... The hotel, restaurant and marina bar are something out of the past, harking back to the golden age of tiki themed resorts. Our assigned room was nice but the air conditioning was dated and the room wouldn't cool at all. A call to the front desk, and we were upgraded to a recently remodeled room with cold cold air and a complimentary drink. We loved our stay!! My compliments to the wonderful and accommodating staff. We will definitely return!!」

Elevators seemed very slow, staff at desk were nice enough but could’ve been much more welcoming and friendly (1 was always staring at her screen and never seemed “available”), and disappointing that only 1 washer and 1 dryer were in working order (bring quarters!) for a beach hotel this size. Rooms were very nice and clean. Loved location. 」
