Beautiful and more comfortable than home

This place is phenomenal! It exceeded our expectations in every way. It is so beautiful with breathtaking views of the sunrise, Fish Bay and Reef Bay. Our stay with 7 adults (each bedroom has its own bathroom) was perfect. There’s plenty of room at the dining room table for eating and games. The kitchen is so well stocked we have decided we are going to buy a rice cooker. The main floor bedrooms have outdoor showers. The beds are as comfy as can be and the gardens are perfectly tended. The location is great for getting to the Westin (5 mins), Cruz Bay (7 mins) and even to Coral Bay (23 mins). We are so grateful to have had an opportunity to stay here. Thank you to Abby, to Catered to You and to the gracious hosts of the beautiful property.

Reviewer Comments: Southern Breeze is perfectly located within distance of town for those quick store runs or even a night out. This location served as our escape from reality for a week. Will definitely travel back to St John again for some rest and relaxation. House was very spacious and served all of our needs during our stay. It took us a little while to get used to the location's wildlife. We had numerous encounters with iguanas and a few scorpions but overall we loved the home and the location.

Great house with all the amenities

House was exactly as described. Pictures tell the tale. Only negative was the long narrow driveway. It will test your driving skills. One of the best equipped kitchens I have found in a rental property.

Everything was beautiful and a 5 star house. The only complaint was the mattress in the master ( opposite side from the pool). Needs to be replaced.

A Villa in Paradise

Gorgeous views, 4 bedrooms with kings and queen beds, each with its own bathroom. Nice pool and plenty of outside terraces. We had one problem with water pressure and the management company had someone out to repair it in 20 minutes - we were amazed. I highly recommend this property.

The home itself is top notch - comfy beds and linens, tasteful decor, an amazingly well-stocked kitchen, and rooms that are spacious and elegant. Our family of 12 loved this place and had plenty of space to be together or spread out. The only problem we had was not enough bath towels upon arrival. There were only 9 for 12 guests. It took 4 calls to the rental company to rectify the situation, but that was the only problem. I would rent again.

Paradise Found!

Southern breeze provided the perfect place to stay while rediscovering the island. It provided the 4 of us each our own bedroom and bath while offering wonderful common areas to share cocktails, meals and expansive views. The kitchen had every convenience and we loved having 2 washers and dryers! The property managers, Robin and Vanessa were wonderful to work with and responded promptly when called. The only comment from our friends and I will agree is that the pool could be situated in a much sunnier spot and we would like the resident iguana to move elsewhere! Honestly, the house was where we loved on the island, close enough for dining out but private and quiet when you need to recharge from the day. We explored all the beaches and found our favorite at Francis Bay. Skinny Legs was one of our lunch time haunts and we loved Oceans 362, Morgans Mango and La Tapa! St. John has it all and it never disappoints. Thanks to Catered to, we found a perfect spot!

St John Vacation May 2023

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice house, very well appointed. All four bedrooms extremely comfortable. Great to have A/C in the bedrooms and living area. Indoor and outdoor dining areas are great. Plenty of seating in living area for watching TV. Indoor staircase to reach lower level bedrooms is nice. House doesn't have the perfect view of the water, but was adequate. Driveway is really narrow and the turn-around area is not great. Had to make a lot of "8 point" turns at the bottom of the drive to avoid having to back up the steep and narrow driveway. Catered To staff was very professional and responsive. The "greeter" that met us at the car ferry had an attitude. Maybe she was having a bad day. She left us waiting for about 15 minutes at the car ferry dock... and seemed to want to blame the delay on us. She was a bit more friendly at the villa, but did not make a good impression overall.

Southern Breeze...Beat View on the Island!!

We were met right away, off the ferry, by a Catered To rep who led us to our house, showed us around and made sure we had everything we needed. A nice welcome present was left in the fridge by Catered To (thank you!!)! We had 8 people in our party and the house accommodated us very well. The kitchen was well stocked for the cooking we did. The grill was not great (rusted, tanks out of gas) so we did not use that. The dining room table was big and fit us all comfortably for our NYE dinner! The pool was used by the kids and they loved it. The neighborhood is really nice and the location was easy to get to anywhere we wanted to go on the island. We rented 2 cars and the long narrow drive was a bit tedious to navigate each time, but we managed:) We had a few hiccups with the house (toilet seal was leaking and a broken air conditioner in one of the bedrooms) but Catered To responded quickly and was helpful is getting those items figured out. We would certainly stay here again. I’m dreaming of having my coffee on the beautiful porch overlooking fish bay right now. Thanks for a terrific week with our family!

Great second stay at Southern Breeze

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We first stayed at the property when it was called Le Virage 5 years ago and once again had a great stay. The house has been nicely updated with a new kitchen and furniture. This is an ideal property for a large family or couple families. We ranged in age from 5 to 70. Plenty of room to spread out, great privacy and views of Fish Bay, a nice small pool and outdoor landscaping. It has comfortable beds and the kitchen's well appointed. You really can't beat the location. We had no complaints during our 8 days. One tip: save yourself the hassle of the narrow driveway and park on the street!

Amazing Property

We had 4 couples in Southern Breeze and we all loved the property. The accommodations were perfect. The bedrooms were large and the en suite in each was well appointed. The start up supplies provided by the rental agent were a plus. The kitchen as well equipped with spices and plenty of dishes, glasses and utensils. The pool was nice but a little cool to swim in. The views from every window was beautiful. I would highly recommend this property and Catered To Vacations rental agent.
