「What a beautiful hotel! The style of the room ( I was in the Horse Racing style room) was amazingly done, modern but with traditional features, the bathroom was absolutely gorgeous! Very chic! Will definitely return again. The staff were amazing from check in to requests, nothing was too much trouble. The smell of the lobby was devine. Breakfast was delicious with great choice and a wonderfully friendly waiter. Lovely stay thank you! 」

「Great hotel. Had a nice upgrade. The room had a comfy bed and was very clean. There was an ac unit in the bedroom which helped cool the room down. The only thing was the shower pressure was very low and cut out a couple of times. 」

「Excellent location,staff friendly and welcoming but the so called superior rooms need a major facelift/redecorated and a deep clean would not go amiss.」

「We Usually stay in hotels, but decided to stay in a guest house this time. Got to say we were really impressed with Chester house. It was very clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, (in both here and their sister property, Chester court hotel, next door), and the included breakfasts were excellent. 「Great food at restaurant. Lounge area /pub comfortable to relax at anytime of day. Loved the Beer Garden. Very friendly staff , very relaxed vibe. You can feel the history throughout the building. Stairs are old so not great for anyone too young or too old. Not sure if there was air conditioning but we didn’t need it in September. Thanks for a great stay.」
