This was a special holiday for me, first time to Guernsey since my parents passed away, who I used to visit Guernsey with annually. This was a lovely hotel, excellent service, great food, friendly staff. Great view from the room too over the harbour. Well worth the walk up the hill!

The food in the hotel restraunt was first class and the restaurant staff were excellent, helpful, courteous and always with a smile. The only downside, and it's not a criticism of the hotel, Guernsey is VERY hilly and the hotel is at the top of a VERY steep hill, and taxis in St Peter's Port are non-existant. The island bus service is very good but don't reley on the timetables pinned to every bus stop, get a timetable from the bus office opposite the bus stands.

The staff are very helpful , the rooms were cleaned daily unless you chose not to have it done, the food was good as you could choose from a cooked breakfast or cereal. If you can manage to get up and down stairs, you will not have any problems getting around from your room to the downstairs dinning room .

A lovely hotel in a good location. The staff were fantastic, very helpful and friendly and very good at their jobs. Loved the breakfast and we had a couple of meals in the evening, which didn't last long on the plate and were good value. The gardens are beautiful and peaceful, ideal for relaxing and having a couple of afternoon drinks. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again when I next visit Guernsey

Room very clean and breakfast very good Position of hotel and good for town and bus terminal We booked a deluxe twin room which was much smaller than expected had no air conditioning and shower pressure very poor. Beds comfortable and location quiet though. Staff (especially breakfast ones) were very friendly and helpful. A mini fridge would have been an improvement.
