Our vacation home is located in a quiet neighborhood, close to everything that St Petersburg, Gulfport and the surrounding area has to offer. Spend the day soaking up the sun on Treasure Island (only 10 minutes away), or enjoying the funky art vibes of Gulfport (five minutes away). Tampa is located just 30 minutes away, where you can enjoy the zoo, aquarium, and Busch Gardens. At the end of the day, our home offers a peaceful sanctuary, perfect for relaxing and catching up with family.

Great find

The house is as pictured. Very clean with lots of nice amenities. Nice quiet neighborhood, but only 10 minutes to all the beautiful gulf beaches. The hosts Tony and Sioux are more than responsive to any questions and feel they went above and beyond!! Would definitely stay again!

Excellent Stay Near St. Pete

We had a very nice stay. The house was clearly refreshed recently. Everything was clean when we arrived. The minimal communications we did with our host went smooth and quick. The location was good for us. It is only 10 or so minutes to the beach. It is easy access to Clearwater, Tampa, and other surrounding areas as well. There are a number of Publix and a Winn Dixie nearby for supplies. The house was well equipped with a grill, pots/pans for the range, and other cooking equipment. The coffeemaker worked well. There is a W/D set in the garage. All of those touches of home were important for us. We were in town for baseball. My oldest son's team was staying at the Dolphin 'resort' and playing at Baseball City. The house allowed us to do more eating at home, which was good when baseball was the priority. In addition, the W/D allowed us to wash uniforms between games instead of bringing home a pile of dirty and double worn baseball clothing. Most of the families stayed at or near the Dolphin. We were only 10 or so minutes away and had a much nicer place to call home. It was worth paying to park at a public lot when hanging out with the other parents to have this house to come home to (and it saved us money).

Wonderful place to stay!

My hubby and oldest daughter took our spring break in St. Pete, since my other daughter goes to Eckerd College. This is a lovely, spacious home in a quiet neighborhood. Even though is it close to a very very busy part of St. Pete, it is quiet and peaceful. We loved having coffee each morning on the screened back porch. There was everything we could need in the home, including tons of fresh towels, washer/dryer, and a french press for coffee (my hubby's personal favorite). Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us! We will be back next year. Jill

PA Friends on Sailing Vacation

The Bue Heron House was exceptional! Clean, lovely, with all of the lovely amenities that made for a comfortable, happy stay. Returning from active days of sailing...we enjoyed the clean, comfortable surroundings--- especially the porch!
