* Note 1/15/2024 : The elevator is out of service. Guests will need to use the stairs. We recommend that guests with mobility issues factor in that the elevator is out of order. The unit is on the 4th floor. The HOA is currently working on installing a new elevator, however there is no timeline currently. We apologize for any inconveniences. Please do not book this property if this will be an issue.

SKI-IN/SKI-OUT 3BR/3BA at Stagecoach lift. Renovated skier and hikers paradise @ 7,500 ft elevation! 2 on-suite Bathrooms! Building ELEVATOR, COVERED PARKING SPOT, high speed WIFI, wood fireplace, & bluetooth sound bar. Kitchen stocked w/ Calphalon pots, Keurig, wine glasses, and crock pot. Each room has a TV and DVD player. Community hot tub and pool 0.5 mile away.

10ish min drive to casinos, restaurants, lake, beach, and nightlife!

The space
Closest Ski-in/Ski-out building on Heavenly. ELEVATOR accessible & 1 covered parking spot for easy access regardless of weather. One of the few buildings with elevator access in the area. Unit is a 1200 square foot condo on the top floor of a 16 unit condo complex. Info on additional parking section.

Accommodates 8 (sleeps 8, dining room table seats 6 comfortably with additional seating for 4 on kitchen mantle stools, living area seating includes couches for 5-6 + the 4 kitchen mantle stools).

The building common area includes a seating area with 6 comfortable Adirondack chairs overlooking the lift, two outdoor propane grills, and a picnic table on a shared outdoor patio/balcony.

Great for every season!! Walk out to summer hiking & mountain biking on Tahoe Rim Trail, winter snowshoeing, sledding, or 'Apres Ski' cocktail hour at Heavenly Mountain Stagecoach lodge.

24/7 fire alarm and CO2 monitoring system - monitored by Tahoe Douglas Country Fire Department for guest safety!

Cleaning service will take care of your linens and towels upon departure!

Other things to note
WINTER: We recommend a 4-wheeled drive (4WD) vehicle. Periods of heavy snowfall are common at 7,500 ft. 4WD (or chains for 2WD vehicles) may be required on local roads during winter storms.

PARKING: One covered carport spot provided. 2nd parking pass provided to enable 2nd car parking at pool / tahoe village community building (1/2 mile down the road) ***Failure to return 2 parking passes upon check-out may result in forfeiture of $100 from security deposit and/or potential negative guest review*** Additional parking is usually available across the street in the Heavenly Stagecoach lodge parking lot. Please be advised that vehicles parked there are on Heavenly’s property, not our condo building property. During peak season periods (approx Dec 15-Apr 15), we suggest only parking there for limited time periods, and absolutely avoid parking there overnight if snowfall is planned (as they may ticket/tow if they are unable to keep the lot plowed). Unlimited free parking is available at the Hard Rock casino in downtown South Lake.

SUMMER: Building does not have air conditioning, summer temps usually moderate at 7,500 ft elevation. One condo window air conditioner in living room, 2 ceiling fans, and 3-4 mobile fans for summer guest use.

Note on cancellation policy: Please note that booking a visit to Lake Tahoe comes with some risks of guests wishing to cancel and receive a refund due to natural disasters or weather related events. Our cancellation policies are strictly enforced regardless of the reason for cancellation. If you need to reschedule your date, you must be in compliance with cancellation policy first. If there is a blizzard, road closure, fire, smoke, rock slide, avalanche and/or any other natural disasters, our cancellation policy will still be enforced as we cannot expect our property owners to be held accountable for refunds for natural disasters which are expected to occur in the High Sierra Nevada Mountain Range on a constant, regular basis.

WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE ALL TRAVELERS TO PURCHASE TRAVEL INSURANCE TO ENSURE PROTECTION IN THE EVENT YOU FEEL THE NEED TO CANCEL FOR ANY REASON.

Cleaning fees also include: Maintenance, supplies, restocking costs. This pays for guest consumables (Such as laundry detergent, soaps, shampoos, starter set of paper towels, tp, etc. For longer stays, we ask guests to purchase). Replacement of items such as broken coffee makers, portable heaters, fans, linens, towels and more. Regular trash removal from bear bins to town dump. We ask guests to assist with optional checkout procedures that are very time consuming such as start dishwasher, wash a load or two of towels. While these procedures are optional for guests, they are highly appreciated to help save our cleaners time, particularly for our back to back turnovers which are very difficult in the Vacation Home Rental industry. – Thank You Lux Villa VR

Location was awesome!

The location is great!!!, right across from the ski lift. Very comfortable place, quiet. The only downside is the lack of an elevator, but we knew that. We had a great time skiing at Heavenly!!

Great ski location, somewhat dated furnishings. Elevator does not work, essentially a six floor climb via stairs. If you have lot of gear, it’s area chore. TV way too complicated to operate. TVs and fire sticks are way too cheap to make this so difficult.

There’s no elevator, 6 flights of stairs with snow and ice on them to get into the place. Was horrible unpacking and coming back after a day of skiing. Place was nice, some wonky issues with the bathrooms. Can’t get closer to the lift which was nice.

Elevator a major problem

Location was great for ski in ski out with lift and ski rental in close walking distance. Condo roomy and clean but could definitely use a little updating. ELEVATOR OUT FOR 2 YEARS…MAJOR SAFETY PROBLEM. We had to lug suitcases up and down 6 flights of stairs. Same for groceries. We had to navigate stairs in full ski gear. There is obviously no concern for safety or convenience for guests. A temporary malfunction can be overlooked but this is a complete negligence. We will not be back.

Great for the winter

The place would have been great for winter. The elevator broken would not have been a big deal if the place was actually only 4 flights up, but it was on the top floor and more like the 6th floor up because of the slopped parking and the first two floors being a landing and shared space. The price for cleaning was also excessive as I didn't feel like looked like it had been professionally cleaned. We found an old sock in one of the rooms, the kitchen and the bathroom needed a little help as well. The pool was further away to the point we didn't go because we didn't want to have to walk there and then come back with all of our pool gear and have to carry it up 6 flights with two kids. It just was not ideal, especially for the price. Overall the inside of the place had a ton of space and was very hospitable. My kids like the bunkbeds. It was just very pricey for what you get. The winter would be great location, but summer was not ideal.

Great place and awesome location. We knew in advance that the elevator was broken - it’s a huge hike up the stairs with gear and provisions so if you are not in awesome shape this is not the place for you. The stairs were treacherous.

Heavenly Ski Vacay

Perfect location for skiing the Nevada side of Heavenly. Rent a 4 wheel drive vehicle with snow tires (you will spend as much on ubers and taxis to get around). The steps were killer in ski gear, the elevator was not working (we understood that when we booked, but underestimated that the 4th floor is actually 6.5 flights to the apartment). We had plenty of room, the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cookware. Our tv service was intermittent for the first few days (due to the enormous amounts of snow). The location is beautiful and perfect for the ski family. I would stay here again (after the elevator is fixed). Thank you for a great week. Les Rhoads

Easy walk to Stagecoach lift

Condo is in the Stagecoach parking lot. When the Gondola is closed the most of the time Stagecoach is open! We got up everyday and walked right across the parking lot to ski all day. (2/3 days the Gondola was closed but it didn't matter for us!)

Condo isn't like online description

Pros: 1. The condo was big with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The family room was large, the kitchen table was big and we were able to play board games comfortably. The family room tv is large. 2. The condo is close to the lift. The lift by us never had long lines and was the most likely to stay functioning, even in bad weather. 3. There was a generous amount of soap and shampoo. 4. The washer/dryer were new and large. This made it easy to wash ski clothes every day. Cons: 1. The elevator is broken. There is no ski storage for the building or a rack to lock up our skis. If you rent equipment from Heavenly Lodge, they will store your equipment no charge. 3. The condo is on the parking lot for the Heavenly Lodge and Stagecoach Ski Lift. It is incredibly noisy all night long with snow plows and trucks. 4. The kitchen has newer appliances but old, broken cabinets and drawers. The pantry and garbage cabinets never stayed closed. 5. The bathrooms are partially redone, but the toilets are old and don’t flush well. 6. There is very low water pressure in kitchen sink which makes it hard to wash dishes. 7. There is only a partially covered parking spot so the back of our SUV (which is a must-have in the winter) had to be scraped off when it snowed. Since the parking spot is directly on the Heavenly parking lot, the snow plows pile the snow behind the cars, making it very hard to get out. 8. There is a huge draft coming from the window above the family room where the air conditioner is. 9. The internet is very slow and unreliable. 10. The king size bed is on the second floor in the room next to the bedroom with the bunk beds. This room has no closet and a tiny bathroom. It would make more sense to have the king bed upstairs in the bigger, more private bedroom with a closet and a nicer bathroom, and the queen bed on the second level.
