「Bill’s place suited our needs for a family weekend perfectly. The space has plenty of room to spread out and space to come together as a family of 7. We enjoyed the large screen TV to watch fall football and the pool table for some competitive fun. We enjoyed learning about the sweet villiage full of history the house is located in. Bill thought of all of the small things to make a comfortable stay… coffee, breakfast, snacks and a fully equipped kitchen. We would not hesitate to stay again. 」

「We pulled in at 5pm and were promptly greeted by Bill (Judie's husband). He checked us in and gave us a brief tour of the building and the farm. Our room was spacious and well appointed, and the bathroom with the slipper claw foot tub was very nice. It was modern but maintained much of the character we appreciate. Breakfast was excellent, and included an impromptu lesson from Bill on (re)construction of the premises. Unfortunately Judie was under the weather, so we didn't get a chance to meet...

「This place is unbelievable. If you are looking for a relaxing, quaint, quiet and romantic weekend with your other half, this is it. Nestled in the countryside near Staunton on an actual working farm, this B&B hits all the requirements. Close to Staunton and many wineries.The owner, Bill, is a fantastic host and Amanda, and her dog Layla, are awesome.We had an excellent time and stayed in the Swoope suite with a hand-hammered copper tub and fireplace. 「We were disappointed with our stay at the Buckhorn Inn. I had called the owner in the morning to let them know of our time of arrival and nobody was there to unlock the door for us. After waiting for twenty minutes we drove to the next restaurant to call them, since there is no cell phone reception at the Inn. Lucky for us, the owner happened to have dinner there but she barely apologized. Decor Is also extremely outdated and the breakfast was very mediocre as well. The Inn is currently for...

「I stayed at this place because it was one of the few places still available in the area. I completely lucked out and had the most amazing experience. Not only was everything cozy and clean but we had almost hte entire upstairs to ourself. We had a spacious bathroom with a tub to definitely write home about, a kitchenette area, a common room, and the bedroom. I definitely got my money's worth and more!」
