“Wonderful accommodations! Cozy apartment that was well equipped with farm fresh eggs to purchase that we used to make a breakfast meal! BJ and Barb gave us a tour of the barn with personal greetings from the goats and cats. This location is a short drive from the Corning Glass Museum and the Rockwell Museum that were our intended destinations. The farm was a lucky choice that added to the memories we have of this trip! Highly recommend! ”

“The location could not have been more perfect. We were centrally positioned to enjoy all that is FLX. Our Host Mark gave us a through understanding of all the interesting and delicious wine and port he is creating on the Rock Stream property. “We were looking for a comfortable place to spend time while exploring around the Finger Lakes region - and this was just the place. The location allowed us to easily travel to various wineries, restaurants, and sites around the area. Nothing is walkable, but the drive was easy. We spent an entire afternoon/evening just hanging out on the front porch enjoying the clear sky, beautiful weather, and quiet neighborhood. Each room was equipped with an air conditioner, so we all slept comfortably. ……

“Great Coutry Location with access within reasonable distance of stores, restaurants, etc, if you prefer more “city” atmosphere. Pool was clean, but we did not use it due to the time of our stay (late September). Host was very responsive even when it was just with simple questions. ”

“This is such a fun house in a very quiet area! We enjoyed using the fire pit and were so excited to see that camp wood was provided. We saw amazing views out over the lake including a rainbow. Perfect spot for bird lovers - we saw everything from chickadees to a bald eagle. The hosts are extremely sweet folks. We'd definitely book this rental again!”

“Nice place to stay. Plenty of room for everyone. Beautiful views. House is well stocked, beds are comfortable. Nice touch with a spotting scope to see the wildlife out back. Only complaints are, the upstairs gets really hot! The house has AC but it either doesn’t work in the bedrooms upstairs or something is wrong with it. There are window fans up there so apparently it’s a known issue. The house sits directly on the main road, so there is a lot of truck traffic/noise. The listing led me to……

“Better than photos/description. Kind and gracious hosts. Beautiful house in an ideal setting on lake, with a large private park-like property with mowed trails in back of the house, ideal for long hikes. (Pat gave us a nice tour of the property which made it familiar/comfortable to use.) Very, very clean; kitchen well stocked with pans/etc. (with cookies provided as a welcome gift!); comfortable beds; and pleasant laid-back atmosphere. Reasonable distance from nearby cities and a great base……
