Hidden $100 deposit fee that is undisclosed until you check in. Have a non refundable stay but not an extra $100 to spare? Sucks to be you. Ice maker doesn't work. Staff often wasn't at the desk leaving you to chat with a worker over a video call set up in the lobby- good for reprogramming cards (but they don't make sure you are in that room before they do it) but terrible if you need toilet paper, tissues, cups, towels, or anything really since youll have to wait for someone to randomly come back to the desk. Room had a tv with no cable. Hotel also has no wifi so even if you bring a roku, you're screwed. Can't screenshare to the tv without wifi either.

Place is a construction nightmare. Drywall dust everywhere, can’t believe this is still listed on Expedia I fell for this pit of a place before and gave all this same feedback, I can’t believe I’m in this PIT!! Gallon jugs of bug killer in the halls just disgusting. I’ve lost all faith in Expedia

The room was dirty booked thru you 83 total charged me 100 no cups for coffee in the morning workers yelling woke me up never said they were remodeling stuff everywhere pool empty no pets.. if I could sumit picutes i would send them very unhappy would not recomend

The door wouldn’t close posing a risk for safety, cockroaches, air conditioning didn’t work. Fire hazards and safety issues.

The hotel was obviously in the midst of remodeling projects. The pool area was taped off, and the pool had been drained. New beds, mirrors, chairs, tables, and other modular furniture were stacked in the hallways and pool area. I wish the hotel would have provided full disclosure on its website.

Unfortunately nothing at the property was working. Pool was down, all the ice machines down. Bathrooms were poorly painted as they were originally jet tubs but they tried to paint over the knob area instead of just covering it.

This hotel appeared to be in the process of changing hands and renovation. You can tell it was a really nice place in the 80s, but now it’s neglected and poorly managed. Our room smelled like curry—I mean curry powder, as I have that in my cupboard and I’m familiar with the spice. When I went to set my bag on the countertop, I found it was covered in food crumbs. There were also crumbs on the coverlet. The mattresses were lumpy and sprung. The refrigerator hummed loudly whenever you opened and shut it. The microwave was also probably purchased in the 80s and had an unsafe, broken plug. The pool and hot tub were beautiful, but closed for repairs (with no known end date). We weren’t in a position to cancel and walk out, so I had to wipe the room down myself and got a cheap can of air freshener to keep the food smell down. Come on, guys. For what people pay for rooms, you need to do better.

Run down, DO NOT BOOK!

Hotel was really run down. Pool was out of service and looked like it had been out of service for months? years? because the tarp covering had so much dust on it. The public men’s bathroom was not functioning and the women’s bathroom was used as a storage with no toilets in it. Hallway carpets were disgusting. Ice machine had no ice. This place is part of Ecocolodge? Has Econolodge sign outside. It needs to be demolished and rebuilt.

I stayed 3 nights. I could not get my tv to work. I went down to the front desk and they tell me they’d come in the morning. No one shows up. Again, I go down later in the afternoon. 3 workers r at the desk and said, no one came down? I said, no. They speak in a foreign language while I stand there like an idiot. Say they will b down in a few minutes. Never show. Pool was unavailable. Did not know that ahead of time. Ridiculous. I try to do something about it and get a refund when I get home. They say I needed to call while I was there. Why would I call when I was there? I talked to them several times. Pure frustration.

Warning, do not stay at this dump. Black mold in the showers ,dirty linen , stains on the floor, pool was out of order with mold and algae growing in it. I don’t hold know how the City of Stevens Point has not shut them down. We will be reporting them.

Worst hotel experience ever

I tried calling 3 times to tell them I would be delayed and would be checking in late, and was told each time they were busy and I would have to call back. When I finally got through, no one made a note. When I called the next day to confirm my arrival, I had to go through the whole discussion again. The first room reeked of cat pee. When I complained, they gave me another room that reeked of cigarette smoke. I was told that was their last room available. I ended up staying with a friend. When I told hotels.com, I was told the hotel had cancelled my original reservation as a "no-show" and made a new one, paid for with the hotels.com funds. That meant I couldn't get a refund. My worst hotel experience ever!
