「Room was very clean and tidy. It is only a mile or 2 outside of Bayfield. The units are private in the woods but are close to the highway so you do hear a light bit of traffic. There is a fan in the room and we travel with a sleep noise maker so was not an issue. Price is reasonable for the area and I would stay hear again.」

「Location was great. Fantastic walking trails. Only had one hair dryer and night light for 2 bed/2 bath chalet. We had to ask for iron and ironing board which was a listed amenity, but owners brought one to us very quickly. An alarm started beeping in the middle of the night. It took us 2 hours to find and turn off the carbon monoxide monitor. Owners should proactively replace batteries in alarms on a regular basis to avoid this inconvenience for their guests.」

「This multi-level house/cabin works well for family and friends to gather on the island. Lots of room inside and outside for potluck dinners and game nights. The basement 2br apartment was especially nice for our son's family with a toddler. The kitchen is well equipped and has excellent appliances. Claire was a great host and responded immediately to all questions. There is excellent storage and lots of refrigerator and freezer space for your island stay, 」

「We booked at the last minute due to wanting to avoid camping in bad weather. Host contacted us quickly and condo was clean and ready for us. It was a great location for exploring the Bayfield area and had everything we needed. 」

「we had a really lovely time on Madeline Island. The house was just what we needed - modest, but with all the necessary amenities to cook a meal, relax and enjoy the water. The access across the road was easy and convenient. The kayaks were awesome! We had an early snag where the property had not been fully cleaned from the previous guests but Alan was on it immediately and offered compensation for the hassle which was much appreciated! Highly recommend!」

「Private beach was excellent. We had such a good time playing in the water. Housing was comfortable. Kitchen was surprisingly well stocked with what we needed. Problem was finding the place. The address cannot be seen from the road because covered in vegetation. Also the communication with owner and with Vrbo was frustrating and for the most part nonexistent. We had such a great time that the problems now seem insignificant. 」

「We were doing a Waterfalls and Hiking tour of Northern Wisconsin and therefore didn’t spend much time in the Jayco RV. However, what time we did spend was perfect and fun as neither one of us had stayed in an RV.Joseph was very helpful with suggestions and was very available.」

「Nice location and very good access to everything. 」

「This is our second stay at this lovely home. We love everything about this place and I especially like that it has a washer and dryer and a well equipped kitchen. MaryAnn has thought of everything. You won’t need a thing while staying here. The house is very clean And decorated tastefully to make you feel at home. We plan to visit again and highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit Bayfield.」

「My husband and I had a perfect three nights in this charming cabin. The owners are obviously very conscientious about making their guests' stay comfortable in every way. The rustic charm is obvious from the photos, but what might not be so obvious are the little touches that make the place comfortable, things like great lighting for reading, fully equipped kitchen, nice dishes, comfortable furniture etc. The architecture is very satisfying with all of the wood and high ceilings.
