The space
Upon arriving you will cross the bridge onto the property and breathe a sigh of relief as you leave the stress of everyday life behind. You have entered a serene, safe, comfortable, and beautiful environment.
We can accommodate up to 10 sleeping with the use of the sofa bed. You have unrestricted access to the full 47 acres, including hiking trails and the 270-year-old log cabin home.
At this time of COVID19 Airbnb has disallowed parties and events at all locations.
Guest access
Besides the farmhouse to your left, there are three other buildings on the property. Far up the steep slope is a post and beam cabin (restricted access). To your right, are two barns. One is used by family occasionally, and the other is for our caretaker, Hunter. He practically grew up here and is the key reason the farm stays in gorgeous condition. He also tends to the animals which you are invited to visit. We all enjoy giving you your space to experience the farm and all 47 acres, but Hunter is available should you need anything during your stay. You will be provided with a digital key, and Hunter's contact information in the event a need arises.
Other things to note
We have a partnership with a local non-profit to foster farm animals who have lost their home. There could be anything from, chickens and pigs to donkeys and llamas on the property when you arrive. The animals bring a special vitality that we really enjoy. They are kept in their own pen a safe distance from the house.
