That was the worst guesthouse we have experienced in South Africa. We booked this guesthouse in advance due to the fact that we were traveling during peak season. We checked in and were so upset about cleanliness, state of room. To us it appeared just disgusting. We did not even unpack, we just left this place immediately.

Relaxed stay close to everything to visit around

Very relaxing place, friendly staff , attentive to detailsmenu breakfast very good. small in lunch and good in diner. The internet was not available either in the rooms, in the hotel house internet was ok for mails but limited for downloads. You have animals around you that is lovely. We can go back.

Bis auf das Bad des Familien Cottages für Ruhe suchende zu empfehlen. Es gibt nicht viele Extraangebote. Kurzplatzgolf war gratis. Der geführte Trail (2 Stunden für je 125 Rand) ist empfehlenswert. Das Restaurant bietet sehr gutes Essen.

Toller Aufenthalt

Wir hatten für 2 Tage einen tollen Aufenthalt in einem Luxury Haus mit traumhaften Blick auf den Ozean. Die ganze Anlage ist sehr schön, das Personal ist sehr freundlich und engagiert. Die Einrichtung des Häuschens ist sehr schön, ordentlich und sauber, allerdings könnte das Bedezimmer einmal eine Renovierung erhalten. Wir hatten an einem Tag Mountainbikes gemietet und haben die Gegend auf eigens ausgeschilderten Routen erkundet, was zwar anstrengend aber sehr lohnend und empfehlenswert ist (über den Storms River Pass in Village und zum Aussichtspunkt oberhalb der Mündung). Leider waren die Räder nicht mehr in gutem Zustand. Man kann sich auch einen Korb für einen Grillabend (Braai) zusammenstellen lassen, das wir uns dann auf der zum Bungalow gehörenden Grillstelle selbst zubereitet haben. Auswahl, Qualität und Vorbereitung des Grillkorbs waren wirklich hervorragend und wir hatten einen sehr schönen Grill-Abend, das sollte man hier auf jeden Fall machen! Aber auch das Essen im Restaurant ist sehr gut. Alles in allem besteht leichtes Verbesserungspotenzial, was Instandhaltung angeht aber insgesamt ein tolles und angenehmes Reiseziel in einer tollen Landschaft!

We stayed one night in a rustic farm cottage - it was very rustic;-) I think it was not 100% clear out of the website description. More photos could be helpful. However, the braai (SA BBQ) and breakfast were very delicious and the service was perfect.
