“We enjoyed our stay at this clean, cute cabin that is updated and just as pictured. We found it very comfortable and convenient for our weekend there to celebrate our daughter's graduation from Kent State; I would highly recommend it as a great alternative to hotels in Kent for future graduations.”

“Rented this place over Christmas holiday for for extended family to stay while in the area visiting parents. Very clean, newly renovated, lots of room, sleeps 8. In a great location close to groceries, shopping, national park, Hudson, Peninsula, Kent, Akron. Would definitely stay again the next time we are in town.”

“It was one of the cleanest places we've been in a long time. I was suprised how much space was in the rooms, which made it more comfortable. We had three people in our room and didn't feel crowded, even though we set up a camping cot so we didn't have to share beds. The staff were also friendly and accepting to us and other people we saw in challenging situations. The shower ws big enough to turn around comfortably! (I have 22" shoulders and have often had trouble turning around in hotel……

“The host was quick with communication and the property is beautiful. Backyard butts up against the channel so you can see the sunsets and boats passing through. Very lovely and highly recommend.”

“We enjoyed our stay. The cottage was nicely decorated and very clean. We had what we needed to cook and be comfortable there. The back yard was so beautiful and we enjoyed relaxing on the deck. There was lots of wild life surrounding the lake - we even observed a Bald Eagle - the provided binoculars helped too. We were close to the Ohio to Erie bike path and enjoyed riding bikes into Akron. The host communicated well and we had a very relaxing time.”

“I loved the pond with the fountain and your lunge area with the lights at night was so charming. I was in town for a funeral and having a cabin in the woods to retreat to helped me recharge. Thank you for being such great hosts.”

“My college friends and stayed here for a short weekend trip. It was a very nice and clean house. The property manager stayed in communication and was very helpful. We also hiked at Cuyahoga Valley NP which is only about 25-30 minutes away from the house. Over all we had a great experience and we would stay there again in the future!”

“The location is ideal, near many trails, restaurants, and microbreweries. The owners are very kind and provide a very clean and safe home to share with others. The water cooler in the dining room is a big plus, especially after nice long hikes on one of the nearby trails. My daughter and her family live in the area, and we had plenty of space to visit in the living room and share some meals in the dining room. The most favorable thing I can say about my stay is this: I look forward to coming……

“This location was perfectly located near downtown restaurants and night life. Went to a few festivals while I visited. I’m not sure what the previous renters on the reviews are referring too but the neighborhood was fine! Also safe! Neighbors where nice and the empty lots across the street and beside the house gave added privacy which I loved! There where waters and and some staples in the fridge. This was super helpful till we could get to the store. Nice added touch! I also have a cleaning……

“We stayed here to go to Cuyahoga National park. It was great to be able to take our boys (dogs) and have a fenced in yard. There were cute themes to the rooms and the place was plenty big. There was also plenty of entertainment available and lots of other things to do in the area. We did not pay for the extra room so it was a little odd having an locked off room attached to us and it would have been nice to access the fence from directly inside of the house had we gotten that extra room--but it……

“Our group of 8 spent a long weekend in Akron to view the eclipse and this property was great for our needs. The views were top-notch, the amenities were great, and the beds were comfy! We paddled and played and relaxed and had an all-around wonderful time.”
