“Logan at the front desk was very helpful and very informative about the history of the property. The property in my room were both very clean. Great job!”

“It's actually a motel, not exactly a hotel. Not exactly like what I expected from online pictures. But overall it's ok for the price.”

“My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at The Tranquil House Inn in Manteo while we explored the Outer Banks. The rooms and service were great, and the location right on the water in downtown Manteo was perfect. Manteo has a charming downtown that offers plenty of shops and attractions without feeling too touristy. We also really enjoyed the light breakfast offerings each morning and the staff were so friendly and helpful.”

“Our stay was pleasant although I wondered how often they rotate the beds since the mattress seemed uncomfortable for my husband and I. The lady front desk said they do.”

“A beautiful, well appointed spot. However, there are some issues with the service. The on site gentleman was wonderful. They were in my room fixing the fireplace when I arrived, had to come fix it again, left me just with a sheet when I said I had allergies to down-requiring me to call for a blanket, and did not have the plunges or sauna operational the duration of my stay. To their credit, they worked to get at least the sauna running. However, they only revealed the issue AFTER I booked……

“Very impersonal. Check in/out is virtual, they were fairly nice, it was hard to understand what they were saying. The shower had dirty footprints and a bottle of soap left in it. One of the washcloths was dirty with what looked like the same dirt from the footprints in the shower. The toilet had a partial strip of paper that should be broken off before the first use by new tenants, but it was just set over the top to make it look like it was cleaned.
