"The AC unit was very loud - too loud. The pool was nice - we enjoyed that. The entire property & rooms are extremely dated & need attention. If I could have cancelled I would have gone elsewhere but was informed I could not. 2 night stay for $640 was outrageous for the condition of room. Bathroom needs renovated. TV was small. "

"This resort was well marketed for my search for a special place in the Keys. Photos of the prime areas are on their site. Somewhat aged property with attention to serving guests, clean & quiet, easy to find. Evidence that in hurricane environment it would be challenging to keep updated & perfect (such as weathered lumber on decks & stairs where we stayed) Excellent staff& breakfast, outdoor amenities are as represented. Very pleasant grounds with new sand on the beach area. Initially we were placed in a tiny basic room across the road but staff kindly moved us to ocean side. Be aware when booking: The basic room is truly basic- plain walls, tile floor. Jasmine room needs considerable updating in bathroom for the price. I was unprepared for the tiny, old, reconditioned tub floor that was very unappealing. Windy weather prevented use of kayaks or paddle boards-disappointing us-yet you will pay the additional daily use fee for outdoor amenities. "

"Taco Tuesday with trivia and live music at the Tiki Bar was a lot of fun. The room could use some updates and coffee in room would have been nice. Otherwise the beds were comfy and staff was friendly. Location was great for proximity to some nice parks and wildlife spotting."

"Value for money: Fair This is a unit in a 3-unit divided house, not a cottage as described. It was clean, comfortable, quiet, and a good size, located a convenient drive to Key West. We enjoyed our stay."

"Nice community, not far from Key West. However the house was not clean. The sheets and pillows had blood on them and looked like they had not been washed, there was a lot of dust and floors were not vacuumed properly. The bathrooms had hair on the walls. This resulted in us having to sleep on top of blankets we brought with us. "

"This location was better than the pictures. My family and I truly enjoyed every minute we spent here and will definitely return if we’re back in the area. The backyard……..pictures can not do this kind of beauty justice!!! Sunrise and sunsets are gorgeous. Coconuts everywhere, we swam in the pool in February…….just amazing. Highly recommend "

"Very well managed property-pool was lovely and just the right temperature Quiet but very convenient to restaurants, etc, Host was very receptive to questions Grilled out x3 just outside front door ! All in all an excellent stay Will recommend to our friends for sure"
