We had a great stay at the Sugar Loaf. Room was clean, comfortable and had a beautiful view from our balcony. Yes, rooms are dated but we liked the nostalgia. We will stay here again the next time we visit the Keys.

Staff was wonderful. Room is sweet and on pretty piece of water. Aging property, but well kept. Quiet, clean, good shower, comfy beds. Quick trip to key west. Great deal for the money. Very happy this is where we landed.

Very nice property. Owner/Staff were fantastic. I love the life-long effort the family has put into the property. View off the deck is great. Free, good, coffee at the Tiki Bar in the mornings. Overall, the mid-century modern aesthetic is awesome in my opinion. All items worked. Ice machine, ice bucket, clean (linens, room, floors, surfaces, bath fixtures) and a farmer's market outside on Wednesdays. Really a great spot with a short drive to Key West. We will return.

This was an excellent value for the price - the room was spacious and clean, the property was quiet. There was a beautiful view with a balcony. I could not have been happier with my experience!

Room was by clean enough. No coffee maker, no microwave. Tiki bar was never open except for coffee in the morning (self serve). Cleaning staff do not make beds. View was great, as were front desk staff. Grounds were clean and well maintained.

Our stay at the sugar loaf was amazing. We only stayed a night to play in key west but it was decent worth it. And don’t miss out on the breakfast sandwiches on the island there.

Perfect Lower keys accommodations

The rooms were clean, but could use some updating. Location was ideal for my needs. Priced very reasonable for the lower keys and Key West. I will stay here again.
