Good last-minute stay

We stayed here just one night because we did not feel it was safe to enter the room that we had booked elsewhere in Sumter, so we checked in with only what we were wearing and had to return to our other motel the next morning when it felt safe.

No frills

Clean room except for the floors. Told the manager after the first night that my white socks turned dark brown on the bottom and he cleaned the floor that morning. Much better but it will take more cleaning. This was attributed to new floor construction.... No pool working. Closed. No breakfast. Coffee is in the lobby if the manager unlocks the lobby to let you in. Front desk is behind plexiglass. Room door needs replacement... Worn. Bathroom door needs replacement... Hole and the latch plate doesn't work. Yes fridge and microwave working fine. Comfy bed. Great TV.

The lady staff member was very attentive and always available to help with reservations. The room was very pleasant for night stay.

Checked out within a few hours. Many people hanging outside of their rooms, safety latch broken on door, landscape overgrown, & honestly did not feel like we or our belongings were safe there. Ended up booking a different hotel and did not stay. Pictures of the facility online were misleading.
