This would be 4 or 5 stars except for one major problem… the entire place smells like a mix of wet dog and dog urine. Unfortunately it seems to be imbedded into all the flooring (wood floors included) and nothing we did made it better. So, that’s the main reason for the 2-star review.
Pros: they had almost everything you could want in a beach house… amazing views, easy beach access, elevator, pool with a decently working heater, quiet area, fenced in grassy area, plenty of room, well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, nice furniture, check in was easy and took all of 30 seconds, good Wi-Fi and TVs, two closets that fit pack n plays so we only used half the bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms, great decks, hose for rinsing off and outdoor shower, gates that block the pool (just make sure to really close the one on the stairs as it does stick sometimes).
Cons: In addition to the dog smell, the house was pretty dirty… garbage on the floor under the beds, dog hair covering all surfaces, chewed up dog bones laying around, a pile of dog poop by the door on the deck and a fishing hook, dirty windows that were almost impossible to open, cord blinds (toddler/baby hazard), upstairs ac didn’t work, washer made clothes smell, water/ice dispenser iffy/slow. We told management company about the smell and dog poop and they just said they’d let the cleaners know, no apology.
Overall as great as the amenities were, for this price, you can probably find a place that doesn’t smell nauseating.
