The Big Time - Custom Home One Block From the Beach wtih Private Pool

2025 Notice: The Big Time is a newly constructed beach home featuring five bedrooms and four-and-a-half baths within a three-minute walk to the beach. This home also features a private pool and heated spa.

The Big Time is a five-bedroom, four-bath home located 1.1 miles north of Surfside Beach Pier and within one block of public beach access. This home features a fully-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, including a microwave and dishwasher, a washer and dryer, central heat and air conditioning, and ceiling fans. Six TVs and Wi-Fi are also provided. Sleeping accommodations include one king and two queen-sized beds, plus two double-over-double bunk beds with trundles. One double-over-double bunk bed is located in the third-floor common area loft; it is counted as bedroom five but is not private. Outdoor amenities include a private swimming pool, heated spa, covered porch, gas grill, and ample parking, some covered. Dog-friendly. Limit two dogs - 70-pound maximum weight limit if bringing one dog, 50-pound maximum weight limit per dog if bringing two. Please see dog-friendly property agreement for details. Permits motorcycles. Permits trailers. No smoking. Maximum occupancy: 16

Conveniently located close to some of the best area attractions, Garden City Beach is directly south of Surfside Beach and ends on a peninsula at the mouth of Murrells Inlet. One of the most renowned attractions in Garden City Beach is the Pier at Garden City. Other points of interest include Marlin Quay Marina and restaurants Sara J's Seafood Restaurant, Gulfstream Café, and Original Sam's Corner.

Just south of Garden City Beach is Murrells Inlet, a seaside community considered the "Seafood Capital of South Carolina" and home to some of the nation's best golf courses. Once primarily a fishing village, the town is best known for the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk, a half-mile-long boardwalk overlooking a pristine salt marsh, and the many award-winning restaurants along Highway 17 Business in the central business district.

Brookgreen Gardens, a sculpture garden and wildlife preserve built on four former rice plantations, is located slightly south of the MarshWalk. It features several themed gardens with American figurative sculptures, trails through several nature reserve ecosystems, and the Lowcountry Zoo.

If you're looking for places to shop, The Market Common, Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing, two Tanger shopping outlets, Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Promenade, and many more shopping facilities are all within an easy drive from Garden City Beach.

Looking for entertainment and attractions? Take in a show at Pirates Voyage, Medieval Times, Alabama Theater, The Carolina Opry, or Legends in Concert. Then, visit SkyWheel Myrtle Beach, Ripley's Aquarium, WonderWorks, Ripley's Believe It Or Not Odditorium, Hollywood Wax Museum Entertainment Center, and The Pavilion Nostalgia Park.

Other points of interest close by include the waterfront community of Georgetown, the third oldest city in South Carolina and the second largest seaport in South Carolina, and historic Conway, with its downtown Riverwalk area nestled on the banks of the Waccamaw River. Both towns include fine dining, shopping, and historic sites.

Take a day trip to Charleston to experience shopping, a harbor cruise, a city carriage tour, or a plantation tour. Charleston is only 87 miles from Garden City Beach - approximately two hours. It's a picturesque and exquisitely preserved Southern city with antebellum architecture, cobblestone streets, and historical landmarks.

Whatever your desire, whatever your need, the Grand Strand offers something on everyone's to-do list.

Great place for 16 to eat and sleep. Very convenient to beach 3-4 minutes max walk. Nice sidewalk to avoid traffic on N 16th street. Can tell it is managed by a property company just missing the little thing like 20 wine glasses with no wine opener. One enhancement would be to cement driveway. Gravel hard on bare feet.
