"Even though they are renovating the hotel everything was very clean and organized. The staff were very welcoming and respectful. "

"Positives include nice clean room, good heat/ventilation, and well maintained grounds. Negatives included a shower with only half a door (and a hole in that half, by design) that left the bathroom floor flooded, a location that was a bit further from the National Park than optimal, and the thing that really spoiled the vibe - The property has a nice dining room. All the promotional literature, the main foyer signage, and the online info say dinner is served at 4 pm. We arrived hungry at 4:45 pm and were told the dining room didn't open 'til 5 pm. We went to the bar to wait and had an unpleasant interaction with a staff member who might have been joking but made us feel uncomfortable. So we left and went to the Gateway Family Diner (very close by on the same property - just 2 buildings down). We recommend you do the same."

"My stay was great. Friendly and outgoing staff. Very clean. The only issue I can think of is the refrigerator made a humming noise. I simply turned it off."

"The property is clean, Rooms are very spacious and well taken care of,clean and staff are so nice. Anytime I'm in Harrisburg this is my hotel I stay at. I bring my service dog and they have no problem with him. The breakfast meal plan is a good option, as well and it is freshly made as they state and very delicious. Staff here go beyond for you to make your stay a happy one. "

"We always choose Home2 Suites for our road trips because we travel with many children and value the clean, spacious rooms the brand typically offers. However, this particular location was quite disappointing compared to our previous experiences. ​It felt like the property hasn't been maintained well in a long time. The shower booth wasn't clean, the sink faucet was loose and wobbly, and the standing lamp next to the couch had a broken base, making it feel like it would tip over at any moment. Additionally, the breakfast selection was very poor compared to other Home2 locations. ​On a positive note, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, which we truly appreciated. I hope the management considers some much-needed renovations and better maintenance, as the team there is wonderful."
