「It was a bit inconvenient that the check in closes at a certain time, however, the staff was kind enough to stay so that we could check in a little later since we called in. The shared bathroom wasn't too terrible and overall fine. The towels smelled of cat urine so that was off putting and the water in shower did not get hot. Otherwise it was an okay stay with a comfortable bed」

「The staff were very friendly. The facilities were well-maintained and tidied up by guests and the staff there. Very new and clean. Spacious common area in which you can cook and have meals comfortably. So far the best hotel I have ever stayed in Switzerland. The downside for somebody may be the self-check in system, which is easy for me but not for everybody.」

「I went to Engelberg for a restful weekend of walking and was very happy with my stay. From arrival to departure the ladies who operate the hotel were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great, and they are well stocked with comforts like snacks and wine (very fairly priced too!) for late night goodies. I would recommend them and hope to stay again another time.」

「Brekfast looks so old fruit look nasty fly and bug in every well I not expect Expedia select this property now I have to make sure when I book from Expedia this hotel don’t have shop shampoo I ask staff they give me some one use bottle that’s so nasty they charge me 20 Swiss money I don’t know why plz remove from u book list such bad experience hope no one book I never see this kind of bad breakfast in my life」

「Geräumiges Zimmer in der 2. Etage, leider etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Dafür ist das Badezimmer modern und neu renoviert. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und lecker. Das Personal war nett und zuvorkommend. Die Preis-Leistung könnte etwas besser sein. Ansonsten gut zu empfehlen.」
