“Better than anywhere we have stayed in the UK - Sue is the perfect host - and has thought of everything including tourist information, easy to follow instructions and even some treats! The apartment is immaculate and very comfortable. The location on the beach front, is accessible to heaps of cafes, restaurants and pubs. I highly recommend Sue and her apartment.”

“In a great central location, plenty shops, places to eat, pubs all around and very quick walk to the coast which was beautiful, didn’t realise Folkestone was so nice! Outside building looked very nice, access lobby area clean and inviting. Great shower! (good water pressure!)Apartment was compact but had everything needed. Was a hot weekend so needed to open the windows overnight, could hear people enjoying themselves which wasn’t a problem for us. Some parts of the apartment were tired but……

“Great location and with a parking space albeit very tight to get the car down the lane and we don’t have a large car. House was as described but very basic and just felt like not a lot of thought had gone into the decor and making it homely. Just a couple beach pics on the walls. Outdoors furniture was dirty. TV in the bedroom didn’t work. Bed was small and a bit uncomfortable. Downstairs toilet was dirty. Shower leaked and difficult to get in and out of the bath with the large shower……

“I stayed in this gorgeous cottage/annex for one month.It is furnished to a very high standard and is probably the nicest place I have ever stayed for comfort, cleanliness and having every imaginable appliance in the kitchen.Everything is done with great care, the welcome hamper full of goodies, fresh flowers on the table., books, magazines, extra towels in the bathroom. Lovely bathroom with a super shower. Spring flowers emerging in the garden, beautiful location in the Elham Valley area with……

The cottage is immaculately clean and has everything you could wish for for a short and longer stay. The cottage is very spacious and also peaceful and quiet so you can enjoy a truly relaxing time away. Great location to explore the coastline or Kent in land. “THE BOLTHOLE liegt im Stadtteil Westbrook von Margate und ich würde diesen Teil als "Cottage-Viertel" bezeichnen, denn Margate selbst ist ein, in die Jahre gekommener Badeort der Briten, der leider schon bessere Zeiten erlebt hat. Für Ausflüge nach Canterbury, Dover, Whistable und viele weitere sehenswerte Punkte in Kent ist die Lage aber perfekt. Zur Standpromenade geht man 5 Minuten und von dort sind es ca. 20 Minuten hinein in die Stadt - ein wirklich schöner Spaziergang entlang des……
