**PETS PROHIBITED**

Black Bear Haus is a lovely remodeled cabin on Tahoe's West Shore. Sunny and Bright, this cute little house is perfect for a couple on a romantic getaway. Beautiful leather furniture and a 55-inch TV, Blu-ray/DVD player. Tastefully decorated with an open floor plan. Very homey with a new king mattress as of May 2024. Sunny patio with 4 chairs and a round table, a chaise lounge chair on the front deck, and a propane BBQ. The bathroom is also completely remodeled with a nice new tub and granite tile.

Enjoy the hot tub on the back deck. Gas fireplace and wireless internet. High-efficiency washer and dryer are down the interior stairs and to the left.

There are approximately 13 stairs from the parking area down to the cabin - not wheelchair accessible. Garage not accessible for renters.

Please note: Homeowner or guest of owner may occasionally use the apartment below the garage, away from the main house, with separate entrance and no interruption to you and your vacation.

•QUIET HOURS ARE FROM 9PM TO 8AM. NO NOISE SHALL BE HEARD ACROSS PROPERTY LINES. NO OUTDOOR SPEAKERS OR AMPLIFIED SOUND ARE TO BE USED AT ANY TIME.

Amazing and Peaceful Property

My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our 15 year anniversary and it was absolutely perfect. Home was amazing. Scenery was stunning and neighborhood was so peaceful. I recommend this property to any couple looking to just get away or celebrate something.

Cozy little cabin for 2

My husband and I stayed here in January and loved it. The house was the perfect winter escape for us. We were even able to easily walk down the hill to the various restaurants and market on the main road. We would stay here again for sure.

It was a beautiful place to stay. We took our bikes and rode from the house to Palisades and back. It’s close to the bike trail. After we went in the hot tub. It was beautiful. We enjoyed the place and would love to come back sometime.

Can’t say a bad thing about this place. It was spotless, beautiful and a great location, wish we could’ve stayed a week! Loved seeing all the birds at the feeder out the front window also. If we ever come back to Tahoe we will stay here again for sure.

Wonderful place!

Perfect for the two of us! We enjoyed the hot tub every night and cooking in the beautiful kitchen. Excellent location by sunnyside. Comfy bed. Only 1 roll of toilet paper provided for a week stay (and no coffee grinder or tin foil), so stop by the market on your way. We did want to use the grill but no propane tank. Otherwise a lovely place!

Sweet, cozy hideaway

This property was absolutely perfect for mine and my husband’s honeymoon. It was clean, quiet, and so cozy. It was the perfect amount of space for just the two of us. The kitchen had every kind of gadget and spice you could possibly need so I had a blast cooking for my new husband! Everything was modern and updated but still gave that classic cabin vibe. My only complaint is that the bathroom is a little small for two people. I definitely wouldn’t stay here if you have more than two guests. Other than that, it’s the perfect place to disappear and get snowed in. :)

Charming home in Tahoe City.

This is a great place to stay. Tahoe City is a convenient and gorgeous drive to Truckee (16.2 Miles), South Lake Tahoe (28.0 Miles), Emerald Bay State Park (16.8 Miles) and Incline Village (16.8). The house is well maintained and loved by the owners. We had all the amenities we needed to prepare meals for our 4 night stay. The home is sitting in a peaceful neighborhood. Our only concern was the number of stairs from the parking area to the house. There are a total of 13 steps down to the main house. This is challenging for Senior Citizens, Wheelchair bound persons and people with COPD. We do recommend staying at the Jordan.

Very clean and great location!

The property is very clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen is full of amenities, which was great as I cooked a full Thanksgiving dinner, and had everything I needed. The hot tub was wonderful, and our dog thoroughly enjoyed his "walkies" around the beautiful neighborhood. We hope to stay there again!

This was a great place to stay. It was a great location far enough away from Tahoe City to feel more relaxed but not so far that you couldn’t get to dinner or the store in 15 minutes or less. The cabin is well furnished & equipped. I would highly recommend it!

Simply the best
