Wakulla Vacay

We had a great time with the grandkids! The Marine Specimen Lab was a big hit and Wakulla springs never lets you down. The cabin was conveniently located and a really peaceful stay.

We loved it

We loved it so much we stayed 3 months. We were able to relax and enjoy nature around us - the birds, the squirrels, and the deer. We finished a couple of nagging projects that never got done at home. Carolyn was a perfect host, available but not intrusive

Another wonderful stay! Great place, clean & great yard for a pup! If you’re lucky, you just might catch a glimpse at the deer walking in the driveway early morning!

Wonderful Stay

We had a great stay here while in town for the Florida State game. It is a quiet and cozy property with a short drive to Tallahassee. The house has many amenities and lots of space. It was perfect for everything we needed, highly recommend!!

Great place

Nice place, clean, quiet neighborhood & a large yard for the pups. This was our second visit & we have another one planned in 2 weeks. Definitely recommend this rental to others!

Perfect location for exploring the area

We very much enjoyed our stay in the cabin. The cabin was clean when we arrived, had a well equipped kitchen and great front porch and deck for relaxing while there. It is very close to St. Mark's NWR, Wakulla Springs and some of the local beaches. Highly recommended if you are looking for a place to stay for exploring some of these great parks.

Lovely weekend getaway

We stayed here for my daughter’s graduation weekend. It was close to Tally, without being in all the noise and hustle & bustle. We were able spread out, bar b que, and relax. Appointed with everything we needed. I highly recommend this for a home base for school events or just a nice getaway.

We had a wonderful time staying at your cabin celebrating our daughter's graduation. From relaxing on the front porch with our morning coffee to watching the dogs run around the yard, it was the perfect place for a family get-together.

Tallahassee nature retreat

So cute and cozy. It met the needs for a family of 4 (2 young adults children 18 & 20) They enjoyed walking the property and area and seeing the animals in the neighborhood.

Hurricane evacuation to peaceful paradise

We had to evacuate from our coastline central Florida home, facing a Cat 4 hurricane. We found the retreat here and it was heaven. The home was clean and comfortable. The yard and grounds were so enjoyable. We asked to meet our host, Carolyn because she was so gracious and kind. The stay became more a “vacation “, rather than a nerve wrecking event. We can’t wait to go back and stay longer and enjoy more of the area! The home is also well equipped with many of your needs.

We enjoyed our stay at the retreat immensely! It is warm and inviting. We had everything we needed. The backyard is spectacular and perfect for our poodle to go exploring. I think the best part was the rocking chairs on the front porch! You will be glad you stayed here!

Peace in the woods

Ms Carolyn and Floyd were great hosts and coordination from them was great ! The place was nice and clean ! Peaceful, woodsy andsecluded , has neighbors in the distance! The hosts checked on us for arrival and we spoke to them on departure, friendly and just good folks ! We will definitely book with them again ! P.S. the fur babies also loved the fenced back yard and bbq area !

Great property for a family or a couple.

What a perfect property in Wakulla!! Cozy, but with just enough room for our family of 7, this quiet retreat was a blissful escape from a hectic weekend with our extended family. The owners were gracious, and there was wireless Internet! A great addition. We come to Florida once or twice a year and we will never stay anywhere else.

Cozy and Quaint

The retreat was perfect for us and our dog for the week. We were in the area doing volunteer construction and it was so nice to come home to this cozy place rather than a hotel. The owners were very good with communicating about anything we asked. And this was one of the best stocked rentals we have ever had! We also loved that the yard was big and private, had a large fenced in area, big deck and plenty of outdoor lighting. We are planning to stay again while volunteering in the area next month!
